What you've described sounds kind of like Kot's book Wild Children (red cover, schoolkids, rifles, quotes but no images, multi-word titles), but I don't know of a cover with that specific image on it.

It was recent. Definitely a comic book, but It reminded me ALOT of coppelion, except it was a comic, plus they don't use bolt actions in coppelion.
That's all the detail I know. It was sealed, I only saw the cover and back

I looked up wild children. It wasn't like that. There weren't any borders or stuff like that. It was a red background an a drawing of the girl aiming the rifle.

Thank you. It was definitely a comic too. Large pages, thin book. It was on a shelf in the comic store too, standing, not clumped together with other comics like most other shelves
