Sequel was 7/10, IMO, however the animation on Chester V is top-tier as fuck
That's what I love about Sony Pictures Animation, even if a movie is horribly mediocre, at least the animation is wonderfully cartoony

She instantly made the movie jump to 10/10 for me. I was never a fan of other Madagascars, but the third one is pretty based, the characters work for most of the time and El Capitan is probably best thing Dreamworks ever came up with. I'd give an Oscar to anyone who can make a French man or woman look badass, since that's almost impossible.
