The little two page origin stories are still my favorite things by Ross and Dini.
>>79851070
True, it's short and sweet. Perfect for anyone who doesn't read comics
I'd shit my pants if I were those miners
giving you a bump because no one bumped my storytime
>>79851668
Aw that sucks man, what were you storytiming?
>>79851786
I hope she doesn't mess with Captain Marvel's purity.
>>79851971
Nah, that's only for Stargirl
>>79851832
>Reverse-Flash T-shirt
OH FUCK
>>79852019
I question who in that universe would ever sell a shirt of a really evil guy like zoom
>>79851716
Tales From the Bully Pulpit
>>79852127
Can't say I've heard of them
>>79852196
To be truthful, I've only seen the Wizard sit on his ghoulish ass and give Billy advice. Only time I love seen him do something is after he gets turned to stone by Johnny Sorrow

This last page is pretty based.

Drugging the gorilla seems like the safer option for all involved. Especially the gorilla.
>>79852663
Sorry, I don't know any.
>>79852703
I agree, it's a sweet touch
>>79852809
I guess he just wanted to save the keepers the trouble
>>79850505
Tonight's rough anon but this helped a lot
>>79853316
What's wrong bro
Would anyone be interested in Alex Ross' Superman comic Peace on Earth?
>>79853402
Typical Valentine's Day blues ya know? Feels like no one wants to be around me. But its late over here I'll be good if I just get some sleep. Thank you for the story time anon.
>>79853618
Yea, sleep it off man. If you try your best in everything, someone will want you. >>79853529
That's a good story mane
>>79851924
>Mr. Bronsky forgot about his run in with the Captain and got drunk a few months later and beat his son to death.
>A few days later a unidentified body was found floating in a high earth orbit. An adult male with a high blood alcohol content with a baseball bat shoved up his ass and a bottle of liqueur wedged up his nose.
>NASA later deemed the death "natural causes" and the investigation was closed.

What would you even do with ill-gotten ore?

>>79850505
Where's Lust?
I never really cared about Captain Marvel, but this is good shit.
>>79854197
What would Billy do if that happened?
This whole series is utter shit, and I'm way into Dini and Ross. So fucking hockey, stupid, and completely devoid of any imagination.
Thanks for storytime. I love all of those one-shots.
>>79850505
Fine. Still getting over a break up but I just got back from a pretty alright hockey game and I have this thread to kill some time with. The relationship was barely anything at all, but damn does it hurt not being in a relationship around Valentine's. Still, not bad overall, OP thanks for asking. I know it must sound faggy, but actually for realsies thank you for asking I really appreciate it.
>>79852663
Here familia http://getcomics.info/dc/shazam-power-of-hope/
I think they have the other Dini/Ross books as well.
>>79855081
OP asked so I answered.
>>79851751
Sarah Connor?
>>79855046
Damn that sucks man. Valentine's day seems to be a big fuck you to single people. Try being around good friends tomorrow so you don't feel lonely. And I like asking people how they're doing, we forget people have their own stories and struggles.
>>79855281
You're a pretty cool guy, OP. Thanks for your time.
>>79855385
De nada man, just try to cheer up for me ok?
>>79850455
>dini
you have my interest
>>79850455
My younger brother loves Captain Marvel, now I know what to get him for his birthday on the 17th.
Thanks OP.
>>79855644
Giving him a copy of Jeff Smith's Shazam :Monster society of evil would be cool too

Im okay. Im not feeling well as i was going to work today buy my ride cancelled so no work. Was going to go watch a movie but everyone couldnt make it (sickness, cars not here atm, etc) and all the lawnmowers are broken so i cant mow the lawn or anything. Ive been working out and playing videogames and trying to eat healthy all day and i just feel down in the dumps.
I feel useless
At least comic books let me read things
>>79855046
Hey man
You feel better, aight?
Im not 100% either, but i like hearing about others
I believe in you, lad
>>79852388
Thx for the read anon
I've only read one other captain marvel book and that was the one by Jeff Smith
Don't know why I like cap marv over supes probably the whole Billy identity or maybe the villains
Anyway thx again
>>79852309
My favorite moment with the Wizard doesn't even involve Cap, but Superman, in First Thunder.
It's at the end though, and I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it.
>>79852112
GOAT page
>>79859604
I agree dude, Dini's writing and Ross's art just work so perfectly here.
>>79858477
I love the Jeff Smith book too! I even gifted it to a friend to show them how good it is. Maybe we like Shazam because instead of being a billionaire orphan or an alien from krypton, he's just a kid trying to do right. >>79858322
Why don't you just go out and do something? Like just take a walk, try to get out of the house.
