I don't see the point of reviving any cartoons, to be honest. (Almost) all art is essentially a product of its time. If we were to bring back something which had been dead for years, it could risk losing its original charm in the first place.

Even if the original creator/writers were to come back, who's to say that the intervening years hadn't changed their writing style which made the original work what it is?
