Burnie, Joel, Matt and Kathleen all did stuff in the entertainment industry/did it at College. Gus and Geoff are naturally emotive people so it was pretty easy for them as well I'd imagine. Jason graduated from College with a degree in Radio/Film according to Google, and Dan was able to bullshit his way into tricking everyone at the Tech Company he had a job for like a month before he was found out so I guess he's a naturally charismatic person as well.

Also the first couple of seasons of RvB aren't exactly anything to write home about in terms of acting quality, the writing/niche appeal of machinima helped it stand out more-so than the voices.
