I really dont care about Tootie not getting faries and dont see why others do so much. Tootie was never that interesting. Occasionally funny, but not "new main character" material without changing her character a bit, since she was never around long enough to get much establishment besides being sad and obsessive.

We really dont know enough about her yet. If she was a normal person then the "too happy for fairies" thing would apply, but her exaggerated talents makes it sound like it will be tied to some explanation, like still being ignored by her parents or something.

I could see Chester getting one without changing much, but most of the other kids in the show are either not unhappy or could get faries but thier character would change so much from the new dynamics that it wouldnt really be worth it.

I admit, this character coming back with her fairy to become a main character would have been a great idea (more of a blank slate, already met Timmy, has her own faries) and it's kind of a bummer it didnt happen, but her personality seems more abraisive than upbeat so it really boils down to how they wanted the new character to act like.

I thought Tootie was awesome after Channel chasers and wished they had done more for her after it, but they missed that window.

Around 90% of the promos are from episode 1 of the season though. Still, every promotional drawing or video that's just random character art doesnt have them either. I'm....actually worried because I like Poof.

Maybe, but she's still a female main character that came from nowhere, she didn't showed any flaws so far and can easily become the writters little waifu that has a plot armor protecting her from danger, Timmy already gets shit throw at him and has his own inner demons, let's see how they will handle her

And no, being "an odd kid" isn't a personality, its a trait but you need more than that if is one of the main characters

Hell, even Kim Possible and Sandy stopped being mary sues over time. Even if Chloe starts out perfect she'll be flawed up in no time.

I know I'm being too optimistic though so I'll wait and see too.

Considering they paid money for a good voice actress, I'd like to see her become a successful regular and not just shuffled into the background doing nothing unless the plot calls for it.

I feel TV channels respect the creators now more than ever, so I doubt they'd do it now. Though Nick is always the slowest to change. They're just entering thier renaissance meanwhile Disney had thiers so long ago they already had it long enough to go back to being shit again.
