Shit, just like everything Man Of Action made.

Pretty decent, but rushed at the end with a really lame final antagonist. Also the random fucking wacky sound effects in some episodes was troubling.

Also, they focused way too much on that boring siren chick when Breach was about a million times more interesting and a far more satisfying love interest.

Fun characters all around. Nice animation. Didn't care for Bobo, felt he was a little too try hard. Van Kleiss was a GOAT villain with some interesting henchmen.

I think the series fell short when it came to build-up and payoff. It never felt like it went anywhere significant with its 'game-changing' episodes. They could have stuck to episodic plots and I would have been alright with that. Either right an over-arching plot well or don't do one at all.

Great ideas but rather, unfocused? Man I miss action cartoons, next generation is going to be a bunch of pussies. I kid, but thank god Samurai Jack is coming back. I kept waiting for Rex to go full mech again

It's really unfortunate that he never got his memories back.

This was one of the first shows on CN that got canned for bad toy sales. They gave the cancelation almost halfway through the production of the final season which explained why the ending was rushed and incomplete as fuck. it's also the reason why CN absolutely hates action cartoons, poor sales of the fucking TOYS made them realize that while kids(boys and girls) may watch the show, only boys would buy the toys, and they weren't really selling as much as they were expecting so they used it as a baseline model for all the action shows forward.

I did enjoy how they kept Six getting mindwiped a thing and not a one-off event. The Ben10 crossover was pretty neat too.

Better than it should have been, but nowhere near as good as it could have.

It felt like they had an awesome concept with only a slight idea of what to do with it. There also felt like there was meddling to try and dial it back from getting to grimdark (the wacky sound effects, monkey sidekick, filler comic relief episodes).

It was kind of a refreshing take. I can't think of many instances where a character gets amnesia, and NEVER recovers their old self/memories.

Though I guess in Six's case, it'd be his "new" self since the old self is what he became.

SU is not an action show and it's not trying to be. Quit forcing shit where it can't fit. It's more of a slice of life mixed with comedy and adventure.

Watched some of it semi-recently. It tried way too hard to be cool. The goofy sound effects didn't help its case. Also the monkey was one of those assholes who cause more trouble than they're worth but are still kept around for no reason.

It could be amazing if they sticked to 15+ target base, if you watch the series again, without all these shitty episodes that bring nothing to the table it was a solid 8/10 series. It kinda has -what I call- Super Robot Monkey Team Syndrome, it was too silly to take it seriously but it was full of serious plots. All of them almost completely overshadowed with random monkey jokes.

The rabbit one was hilarious, though the sound effects killed it. Tabletop tennis one was also pretty good, but felt inconsistent given how they have some asshole coach who can somehow get drug nanites
