>Marvel's 2016 slate of comics will get a head start on the year. Due to some series issues being accidentally released early by the printer, A number of books have been shipped to stores early.
>Announced via Twitter, Marvel notes that after consulting with retailers, it has bumped up the release dates of those books accordingly. The books previously scheduled to go on sale January 6 will instead be available for purchase on January 1; similarly, the comics originally solicited for January 13 will be on sale on January 6. The titles will be released digitally on those dates as well, though they may run a bit later than the issues originally planned for that day.
>Among the books arriving tomorrow, making January 1 one of the rare non-Wednesday new comic book days, are the debut issues of the "Obi-Wan and Anakin" and "Rocket Raccoon and Groot" limited series as well as the next issues of "Amazing Spider-Man," "Nova," "Howard the Duck" and more. January 6 will see the next installments of "Darth Vader," "Spider-Gwen" and "Ultimates" arrive a week early.
