He is in the main universe but he only appeared literally a coulple of times in Forever Evil, since then the character was never used again. And for Ralph, well there's a guy named Ralph Dibney (yes Dibney) in Secret Six, but is completely different from Elongated Man.

I always been a fan of how Helen Parr used hers. Yeah her limitations pale in comparison, but how she used a power I thought was rather goofy or boring into something simple and effective and sexy. Luffy is a cool twist on the power and I got nothing against someone on Plas' level, just not my thing.

All of the Parr family's powers are really interestingly and creatively used throughout the film. The movie even manages to make boring old super-strength seem fresh and exciting. Just one more reason why The Incredibles is GOAT.

I doubt that, Oda just looked at hard rubber and decided to differentiate Luffy like so, then make someone like Plas since we already have a him anyways.

All of Kamala's powers, past and present (shapeshifting, size-changing, stretching, and even healing) are just different uses of the same power. If she's unable to shapeshift into a couch anymore, then she probably can''t stretch as well as she used to either.

If she was ever on the level of Helen Parr or Plastic Man - and even that's doubtful - she isn't now.

It was really stupid how they nerfed her, though. Just having Kamala say something like "she chooses not to change her face out of personal pride" would have been understandable. There was no reason to outright remove the ability.
