I think the interesting thing about the three bears is how one can identify with them. You're too dumb to be ice, too smart to be Grizz, yet those two are the best bears to be. Panda is objectively the worst; the weakest, the one who whines the most, and, like a lot of us here, a perfect example of that dorky otaku. He's the worst, yet the most relatable.

This show is mediocre at best. It doesn't even endeavor to ATTEMPT any kind of plot progression, meaningful character development, it's "bear" angle is just a shitty gimmick that has no real impact on the shows universe, its art style is as bland and uninspired as possible.

All of this could be forgiven if the show was clever and well-written. It is not. It takes the path of least resistance in every single possible facet of production from start to finish.

But it's not good for what it is, what it is is bland and mediocre, seemingly by design. The characters are flat and uninteresting, the writing is as well, the animation too, there's nothing particularly well done about this series, even the premise is weak. The threads on /co/ are just further proof that as long as a cartoon isn't utter shit, some people will still fall in love with it for no reason other than it being animated and extol its non-existent virtues endlessly.

What it is to me is just a fun show with fun characters that I think have some interesting chemistry in relatable contemporary situations. Cute animals are a plus. I'm not going to extol anything about it endlessly, I'm just here to have fun in a thread.

I watch plenty of other shows. To me it's like a pallet cleanser in that it's nothing spectacular, but it has a place among everything else. Again, it's good for what it is.
This isn't a general and it's been weeks since the last wbb thread died. This one would die too if it wasn't fun arguing with you.

Its a pretty good show, I like how it takes place in a normal world where normal things actually happen instead of insane paranormal type things like in regular show.
