I don't hate the x men exactly but the constant editorial shit storm around them, the endless retcons and wolverine circle jerking have kind of ruined everything I found fun about them, long before marvel started pushing inhumans. I actually think I will get more into an inhumans movie than any future x product, the Xavier gang are just too overdone and played out. It's time for something different.

The Inhumans are what the Marvel Universe would be like if Kirby had created all of it himself. Fascinating freaks with no relatability for normal people.

The X-Men were arguably the worst Lee/Kirby creation (all the good X-Men comics were by later teams) but they have that basic combination of Kirby imagination with Lee formula. That's why people will always care more about mutants than Inhumans, just like people will always care more about the Asgardians than the New Gods.
