I downloaded lots of stupid shit when I was young so there was always some damn thing on the computer, but Deskmates weren't really chock full of malware from what I remember. They delivered what they advertised, though there weren't as many animations as advertised. I remember I had to hide it from my family and doing that actually taught me how to use a computer.

It has an irrational special place in my heart.
