It would had been lovely to have Sinestro start building his own harem of Hals. However, there is something very romantic and sweet in how Sinestro only wants HIS Hal.

Also, while Power Ring was extremely moe, Sinestro probably likes his subs with a bit more spark and fight in them. It's probably more satisfying when someone like normal Hal yields and submits to you.
