Not even close to one of his best.
It's pretty basic as far as his cartoons go. At the time it was a little bit out of the ordinary because of abundant use of smears and limited animation, but in entertainment value or artistic value it's pretty average for a Chuck Jones cartoon and you wouldn't give it a second look if it came out today.

One Froggy Evening, Duck Amuck, What's Opera Doc, and Rabbit of Seville on the other hand, stand way out of the crowd.

I think it's pretty impressive, considering it's a parody of some book that came out like 100 years ago that is still funny today, even if you don't know shit about the source material. That gotta be worth some points
