I've always felt that Yang and Weiss could've swapped their train opponents and have a much better chance. Weiss is suited to fighting at a range and Glyphs are just as vaguely defined and useful as illusions.

How does /rwbyg/ feel about the Adam/Ruby related theory?


Note that everything is just speculation.

Adam has a semblance that absorbs and reflects an attack/adds to his own attack power. Rather similar to Yang's in a way. in the black trailer during the robot boss fight, he took the beam head on and absorbed it. His dust clothes and hair glowed and he counter attacked with one slash.

This slash disintegrated the robot into rose petals, or caused rose petals to appear around Adam much like when Ruby uses her speeeeeed.
Adam and ruby shares similar hair color, both of their emblems is that of a rose.

The writers stated in a podcast that faunus and humans can procreate, although they didn't mention what will come out of this union.


This is a pretty farfetch theory so it's just for fun.

Well that's probably true they would have to make their own English versions of the manga meaning they would have to hire staff to do that cause like i said their own circle instead of looking for outside help.

Ciel's multi-functional wrist watch emits a sustained mid-range beam in a straight line in front of her, dealing continuous damage that increases in damage the longer it is harming a target. Damaging enemy players also reduces the cooldown of Ciel's basic skills.


Recall (skill 1)

"You need a time out!"

Ciel returns it's target back in time, returning their health, ammo, and location where they were a few seconds ago.


Borrowed Time (skill 2)

"Time heals all wounds, well most of them anyways"

Ciel momentarily projects a temporal anomaly on an ally, protecting him/her from harm which will heal them instead within its short duration. The target also heals a small portion of health when initially casted on them.


Deploy: Penny (ultimate)

"Synchronization complete. Penny is now online and combat ready."

Ciel calls upon her mechanized friend, Penny, to aid her in the battlefield. Penny follows Ciel around and attacks any enemy Ciel wishes to command her to. Built for combat, Penny is durable but returns home after spending her curfew time with Ciel.


Overclock (ultimate ability)

"Every second counts!"

Anytime Penny is active, Ciel can choose to overclock her, giving her increased speed, health and damage for a period of time. This rapidly overheats Penny, causing her to be returned home immediately after the duration of Overclock.

Or it could just be Ruby using the other's weapons. Crescent Rose would pretty much be Sparda's sword combined with Spiral. Ember cecilia could be Beowulf combined with the shotgun. Myrtenaster could be Alastor but with glyphs for bullets. Gambol shroud would be like Yamato combined with ebony and ivory. Have the story be about Ruby having to save the others from the White fang or something and presto. The bosses could be against Roman, Neo, Banesaw, other villains and some super Grimm.
