What was her name again?
>Imagine you die
>Nobody remembers you trough the pass of the years
>They don't even remember your name
>tfw she was given a backstory in which she committed suicide after a guy she had a crush on failed to notice her, much less remember her name
>tfw Butch Hartman came back to the series and retconned everything by making them beings from another dimension and not just ghosts
>According to one of the creators for the show, before she died, Ember was an unpopular high school-aged girl who had large dreams of becoming a rock star. One day a boy asked her out to the movies. She waited all night for him to show up, saying, "He's just running late." When morning came and he didn't show up, Ember went home. She was so exhausted that she fell asleep and didn't wake up when her house mysteriously caught fire. She died in the flames, which possibly gave her the name "Ember". Her song "Remember" is possibly based on the above events prior to her death.
To be fair, I don't know the details entirely. But given Hartman's born-again beliefs, ghosts as ghosts were straight cut out.
Agreed. At least it died before it could languish in immortality, like FOP has done.
Oh, I got the backstory wrong, then. My bad.
She teamed up with Youngblood in one episode.
Is Danny Phantom worth a rewatch at all? Does it have good jokes and stories, I cant remember much about this series at all for some reason.
Same thing with Fairly Odd Parents but I used to watch both all the time
It has fantastic designs and voice acting for a lot of the villains, a likable main cast and some good waifus.
But there isn't really much long term character development, the fights aren't very memorable and it has more mediocre episodes than good ones.
It feels like something that could have had the potential to be a god-tier cartoon like ATLA or Samurai Jack but never went beyond ok or good.
