First for best girl
Also, best guy to go along with best girl.
Here's to Neo's big reveal in episode 7
Do we have any christmas fluff? All I got is this.
These seriously need to be a thing in Grimm Eclipse again
Which will, hopefully, eventually lead to Roman making a triumphant return
Now that's just outrageous.
I can't remember exactly, but I think it was along the lines of:
Ruby: "Let's go team RRRR!"
White Ruby: "Don't even think of talking to me unless you have 24million Lien in your bank account"
Yellow Ruby: "I love curry!"
Don't you know cuddling with her is like cuddling with a corpse!
I want to marry this Faunus!
I wanna squeeze that bag of bones so tight and warm her up.
It's a super sentai joke.
Ever since Kirenger all the way back in Gorenger, yellow rangers have a reputation for loving curry
even though they only actually did that gimmick like twice in the series' 40 year run
What kind of wives would Blake and Yang be
I could see Yang being a pretty spontaneous wife, always wanting to do something with you, always excited to see and be with you. "Hey, let's hit the gym!" "Lets go clubbing!" "How about the beach?"
Blake is the more stay at home and enjoy each other's embrace kind, just staying at home all day, cuddling on the couch, whispering sweet nothings into each others ears.
Living the dream.
This season has seemed really rocky to me as far as dialouge and animation goes, One episode it seems horrible to me (SSSN tourny fight), the next it looks freaking awesome (Qrow vs Winter fight). Now that there is actually a story developing I am going to try and remain optimistic however...
Blake: Perfect housewife, but unfortunately starts wearing the Dead Mom Haircut (pic related)
Yang: Exactly the same but with benefits
What actually worries me is how they intend to pace through this story. If they intend to make this series last around ten years, they better not make it drag like they've been doing so far. We don't want team RWBY to be stuck on a boat for 7 years do we?
It's not coming, the show was cancelled and you're in a coma
I normally only like cute Weiss, but that image is really beautiful.
I'm a little wary of a Weiss that's scary.
Don't be shrewd, Weiss would never be rude
Getting cold feet now, anon-kun?~
It's actually a good idea, but I'll pass. Don't think I can pull it off.
She may not be rude but she sure can get lewd
It's about dogs.
I don't really request smut nor read much of it either.
I do however give out massive prompts once in a while if there are writefriends around willing to test their writing.
>posting my last answer
this and Her
While Yang's party dudes are not a few at the end of the night
she'll be thinking of you
The song Jaune should have sung to her
>listening to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q3rAERlXBQ right now
It's gonna be the longest fucking aisle ever
Could be worse. It actually kinda fits her.
Well shit, I only miss clicked on this
>"Who the hell is Carolina?"
Jesus...kinda scary. i guess fitting.
heh really fitting, only because i wish i could make a AMV for Neo out of this song was i listening too it.
I want the Rube to hold my hand!
I like my ominous sound tracks
and big ass monster battles to a lesser extent
So I'm listening to the podcast from a couple weeks ago that had Blaine, Brandon, Josh and Chris on it and they're talking about sexy time stuff.
I'm about 90% sure Blaine revealed he banged Jessica Nigri and she was into some rough shit.
"I always wanted to get picked on the cool team...
But alone is exactly how I should be."
Anyone else actually listening too some of the songs people are posting, some are pretty good.
Not him but
Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 2
You're gonna love 2020 then
We've done lots of sad Yang. This is the latest story to use that picture.
Starts at 1:21:41 if it doesn't go there automatically.
Basically they were trying to goad Blaine into talking about the weirdest thing he's been asked to do and they talked a bit about being asked to choke the girl.
Then Blaine goes into the story from there on out, being really careful to to specify that no names must be mentioned, which stands out because they'd been great at not mentioned any names the entire podcast, yet he was paranoid at that point, implying it's someone the audience would know if too much was revealed.
Then he randomly ends it by saying how they're on coke now and had a criminal record, which comes across as trying to throw the audience into them not being able to figure it out.
...actually not that bad a match
Easy peasy. I think it fits Nora quite well.
I'll get the RWBY Undertale fic out soon, I promise
Remnant is the perfect place for
Chara. Plenty of sharp objects, people to murder and dreams to crush.
>Marrying Ruby or Yang
>As they're being walked down, this song comes up
>Taiyang is walking his daughter down
>As he approaches the altar, gives you a glare comparable to pic related.
That anon here
finally Sorry I'm busy cooking for my senpai
Godzilla vs King Ghidorah
Gotta going to have to go with
Good to know some people around here have good taste.
I'll stop charaposting in the wrong thread now.
Do you guys think /rwbyg/ will reach a thousand threads before it's banned? Kinda like /frz/?
I want to tell Weiss that I think she's nice.
I'll explain. Ar nosurge spoilers btw.
The main heroine essentially euthanizes the player's robot avatar because you're going to lose connection to it soon anyway (because the game's over, duh), and she doesn't want your connection to it to finally die when she isn't expecting it. So she says her goodbyes and cuts the connection herself while she's prepared for it to happen.
The 'true' ending is a lot happier for everyone, but still kinda bittersweet. They play a different song over the credits though and it's not as good as >>78296288
I want you to hold hands with Weiss too, because
your happiness is just as important as mine!
Didn't everyone hate Weiss back then? Why is there so much love now?
You must believe in her!
I mean, she does enjoy fighting Grimm and all, but I think she remembers why she does it. Still a kickass song for a wedding, though.
I WANT COCO TO BEAT ME UP!
>Implying love for bestgirl is a phase.
Personally, I dunno. While I didn't hate her, she was one of those "couldn't care less" kinds of girls. Almost every girl group has at least one for me, usually they're preppy and fancy.
Recently, though, I can see the charm to her. A nice, cute girl who is best treated as a princess.
The RT stream where they talked about RWBY related shit.
Bottom line is JNPR confrimed for Grim Eclipse.
Vol. 3 Ends around Valentines day.
The difference between aura, semblance, dust and magic has been revealed.
Shit supposedly gets real after this volume too.
Could you give a TL:DR of what they said specifically, or is shit we already knew/theorised ?
I really want Vale to get fucked by Grim and have RWBY set off on a proper adventure.
So this show will end in fucking 20 years then, glad to know.
>Basically Zero with less speaking
I can dig it.
>However, the three volumes make up one Season.
>This just beginning
Guess I'm gonna be fighting that part of me that just wants everything RWBY related to fail for the long run.
So in regards to aura's, semblance dust and magic it's:
Aura is a manifestation of a souls that acts like a force field. What we saw with Mercury in his fight with Yang was his aura breaking.
Semblance is a unique or hereditory ability that each and every person has.
Dust is mana that is manipulated by contact with aura. An example that was given is that Ruby has dust bullets that works more like scrolls that have pre-inscribed spells (but are not magic) and Weiss uses dust in raw form.
Magic exists (Miles).
Might happen man.
Ren might have a chance to be compotent. Also we're supposedly getting new maps added to the game in January.
Haven't been told when this come but we're likely gonna get a decent Jaune. It'd make sense that he's compentent if this bridges the gap between season 2 and 3.
And with that, I finally finished that greentext I was supposed to do a while back.
I was suspecting this as well, but then again, there's some leeway for some non-canonical moves he could theoretically do. I mean everyone in the that universe has augmented strength and durability, you can kind of make a move set with that on its own.
Not inscriptions I was saying that they're like that.
When dust is put into bullets anybody can use them with a similar effect. It's like Roman's cane gun, that explosion was a simple fire dust bullet. Differnt dust bullets have different effects, bullet types make the effect different.
Now I hate Jaune as much as anyone, but even I'm not that petty.
It's only two volumes and a half so far, miles adn the other writers learned with their mistakes,I'm personally rooting for him.
Working on it!
Shit I forgot to mention that an aura's effect can be active or passive.
Kinda. Miles described the way that Weiss uses dust to be like mana. Just fuel for the attack.
He then went on to say that the way Ruby uses it is like a scroll in an RPG game. You get the fixed effect and nothing else. Depending on the type the effect will be different.
>As much as anyone
It's a keyword that makes a big difference. Everyone implies everyone hates Jaune, anyone implies the max amount of hate Jaune Haters can theoretically hate.
Same, I understand why people would hate him but I also look at the show and how it would be without him, it would still be pretty shit.
The whole show exists so people can suck up on RT's dick so I honestly don't give a shit anymore.
I just want Jaune to have a happy ending
>"I screwed up...big time..."
That's >>78298054 's assumption, not mine.
So why doesn't Rube need Dust everytime she uses her semblance but Weiss needs it to do her glyphs apparently ?
That's not how you eat an eclair.
My favorite image.
I've been trying to draw May "run from the gay" Zedong for awhile for a tribute but I just don't know what scenario to do.
On a side note, do you guys ever wonder about the thought of maybe if you had just applied yourself a little bit further you could've been something great?
I wonder what the capabilities of plain, blank Glyphs are. Seems like they're mostly just multipurpose platforms if not being used for summoning. Although the way that Weiss mentioned time dilation when talking about her Glyphing with Winter makes me wonder if that's another Dustless use of them. Was the Haste spell Weiss used on Blake Dusty?
Think of Weiss' glyphs as the base. On their won they simply push and maybe summon if she controls her true semblance.
However the glyph can add things to change it's property. Weiss doesn't NEED the dust to use her semblance, nobody needs dust to do that. Using dust makes her more powerful though.
Weiss uses the dust as fuel to make her attacks more powerful and give her more options in a situation with her wide array of dust.
Ruby has dust bullets that will always have the same effect. She uses sniper dust bullets and those bullets, although the type of dust will change, will never change their overall effect (ohter than her black bullets that we haven't seen).
It's miles OTP, so it's pretty much on the bag.
Has there ever actually been a prequel to this?
If I didn't procrastinate and went to college after high school then yes
, but then again monty dropped out of high school and did barely anything and got a famous world wide show.
>Darkness. The last thing you wanted to see right now.
>The Toreador March. While it was a song you'd listen to while celebrating beer, this was not the version you wanted to hear.
>You see the glowing eyes and teeth. You're fucked.
>You wake up with a brief gasp. You still saw darkness, but it was a nice kind of darkness. Familiar.
>You feel like your life was being squeezed out of you, but it's the most relaxing thing you've felt.
>You look at the familiar black shirt with a pink heart on it. Its teeth probably would scare you after what you saw, but seeing it dead center on Ruby's chest, counting the rise and fall of it helped calm you somewhat.
>"Bad dream?" Ruby sleepily said.
>You nod and bury your head into her shoulder.
>She moves her hand to pet your hair.
>"Don't worry. I have you." She said before she drifted to sleep. Not soon after, you slept too, knowing that you're in the here and now with someone who cared for you.
I just want Jaune to have a happy ending
So do I but not at the expense of Team RWBY. They're the title characters and they should be treated as such. People be coming up with all kinds of dumb shit that puts Jaune above them.
The dumbest would have to be Jaune somehow getting ahold of a maiden power even after they said only women can get it.
I wish that the aura and semblance worked like a psionic matrix, instead of then all bring dishointed features of the RWBYverse
>be hyped for episode 7
>look forward to it all day
>remember no new episodes for 3 weeks
You just shut your waifu up in public by slipping a few of your fingers into her mouth
She gets angry but as soon as we get home/out of public she jumps my bones.
>mfw haven't seen the last 2 episodes yet
those circus rejects can suck my dic
Groovy. Thanks, lads.
Added the two Alfredo shorts from last thread to my pastebin.
It's probably in the same vein as magnetism, being a distance force and all that.
So it can maybe create tiny "gravitational" points that pulls objects together and if used in the grander scale, negate the Earth's gravitational pull.
Just another tuesday
Think of a RWBY character.
They're now engaged in a fight to the death with Lady Maria. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mByDcrNSV0
How do they fare?
Holy shit. If you got creative with that you could possibly create gravitaional points inside somebody, then connect that to a seprate point and watch the carnage. Well fuck.
Oh we also got some info on what aura does. in regards to damage (namely that you feel the pain when you're hit but don't take the damage untill your aura hits 0).
We also have a rule regarding Faunus fetures:
All of them can see in the dark but when it comes to the other feature it can only be one.
Claws, ears or a tail.
>Vale combat school: Signal
>Vale hunter academy: Beacon
that makes sense I guess
>Mistral combat school: Sanctum
>Mistral hunter academy: Haven
>Atlas combat school: (???)
>Atlas hunter academy: Atlas
probably also named Atlas because everything and everyone is Atlas up there
>Vacuo combat school: (???)
>Vacuo hunter academy: Shade
anyone got ideas on what would go with that? I got none.
I get that also, and so far in volume 3 we're getting more RWBY than ever, and yes Jaune getting the maiden powers is a bit stupid, but at the same time all of team RWBY getting them is cliched (fine with Ruby getting them though) I also look at RWBY as RT attempting (I put that loosely) a shonen anime like Naruto or One Piece, since Monty loved Naruto and Soul Eater so much.
Though I do believe Jaune is related to the old man though.
A lot of these powers can be used in a much more deadly fashion.
> Glynda is sitting in a cafe, reading a newspaper.
> Her target is drinking coffee across the room, talking to a woman.
> Suddenly he winces and looks distressed.
> He tries to push himself up but can't.
> Stutters incomprehensibly and collapses.
> Glynda calmly puts her paper down and walks out of the cafe.
> Coroner's report stated cause of death was a stroke.
> Unknown condition caused the collapse of the Carotid artery.
what even IS her deal anyways? Ozpin, Ironwood, and the unnamed leaders of Haven and Shade being in on the "brotherhood" make sense, and Qrow being a field agent of Ozpin's kind of fits, but what is Glynda's role or what has she done to justify her being there? is she considered as the co-director of Beacon or something? sure she's skilled and Ozpin trusts her but something seems a bit weird about that.
unless she's one of the other 4 maidens of course, in which case it makes perfect sense.
How many veriations of the word map is there? Directions? Co-ordinates?
She's either one of the maidens or she's one of Ozpin's confidants. Proably was in his team at one point and kicked ass.
I wonder if she and Ozpin were still in their same roles at beacon when team STRQ was attending there, or if they were in the same generation instead. their ages are ambiguous.
If I had to guess, the telekinesis and fixing shit is her semblance, but she does a lot of stuff in her fight with Cinder that doesn't really fit into that so I'd say she's one of the maidens.
If we assume that Ozpin and Glynda are a part of the same team they're the same age. But Qrow seems to look upto Ozpin a bit which can be used to imply that he's older by a slight margin. Maybe when team STRQ was attening Ozpin and Glynda were third-years.
There are naval maps too so maybe Compass?
I think it's meant to be more off Titan mythology thoug so it'd make sense for it to be something like Gaia.
so I was just throwing around some theories, because I was curious about the desperation of the "brotherhood" to have the fall maiden decided ASAP.
at first I was wondering if there was only one maiden at a time and they just come in 4 flavors of power, with them following the spring -> summer -> fall -> winter cycle. that would explain why they wouldn't want the fall maiden's power to go to a villain since there's no other maidens around, but the theory still has holes.
what I'm pondering now is if maybe the maiden's power is directly tied to the season itself. that would explain why Qrow referred to cinder as "the one responsible for "Autumn's" condition", rather than Fall. it also could explain why they need an answer from Pyrrha before the end of the Vytal Festival, because maybe that's when the season is supposed to end. Basically, if the power of the Fall maiden is not restored then maybe it throws the seasons out of whack or something. With this theory, Cinder has had her share of that power for less than a full year and could afford to bide her time because she knows that the end of the Autumn season is the deadline for the "brotherhood" to make their move.
Or they know/think that Cinder's planning to make her move during or just after the tournament, and they want to get the power out of the corpsesicle in the basement and into someone who can defend themselves ASAP
It could be that if Cinder has the partial power after Amber dies then she'll get the whole thing once the seasons turn to Autumn.
If we go a littel further into this then we can assume that if the above is correct then giving Pyrrah the power, even partially would counter act this.
I'm pretty sure they don't know much about her plan really, or else they wouldn't have said that they expect war "not between kingdoms" which could very easily happen with all the discord Yang just stirred up.
it's already been confirmed to be autumn though, Ruby said so herself when meeting Winter.
The bad guys probably don't.
But given how all of them fight, they definitely know what aura is and have had theirs unlocked probably just as long as the average hunter.
I imagine that there would be some common knowledge in regards to aura. But I doubt normal civilains would have much use for it so there isn't a real need to learn.
I mean, how much military knowledge do you have when it comes to training and other activites and other equipment?
