Is it worth watching in 2015?
>>
>>78242461

You'd get more out of it if you know the 80s and 90s references. Only about a quarter of the entire series is good. Kon Ducky still looks and sounds great.
>>
>>78242461
Sure it's a good show. I never get why /co/ gets so triggered over dated references. I guess it's just filled with underaged fags that never experienced the 90's.
>>
Decide it for yourself.
>>
>>78242461
It's one of those "90s kid" shows. That is, you'll only get it if you know the references from back then.

Any similar shows released today would be dismissed as "meme shows".
>>
The only reason I watched it back then because I had a crush on Buster.
>>
>>78242461
I can only watch the well animated episodes. The rest are so badly animated that it makes my head hurt.
>>
>>78243520
Someone should make a list of episodes not animated by Kennedy.
>>
Never was, IMO. Aside from the DCAU, 90s Warner Bros sucked.
>>
>>78242461
Only for nostalgia reasons.
>>
>watching a show with the LT characters only they're all underaged and half of them also got turned into females

Fucking SJWs ruining Looney Tunes.

Fair enough.
>>
I tried watching TTA from the beginning and while I could tell there was some good stuff in there I was just too uninterested most of the time and stopped. Animaniacs had shitty segments too but there were enough good ones to keep me going.

>>78242681
If someone were to compile a list of which episodes were good I'd probably give it another shot.
>>
>>78243327
You might as well say that about ALL cartoons from the past.

Her Whacky Highness is still one of my favorite episodes.

Not really.
>>
>>78242461
No. The slaptick is VERY bad, the characters move and feel like rubber. Some jokes can be okay, but the animation is awful.
>>

I mean I see those shitty furries in a lot of waifu threads etc

I'd love to see a cartoon of today do a music videos themed episode like Tiny Toons did.

You couldn't make a Pepe cartoon after 1990 without people just thinking of it in terms of rape. The female take on it was interesting, anyway.
>>
>>78244940
So rape is okay if girls do it?
>>
>>78245135
Not only can girls not rape, but rejecting a girl's advances is a form of rape.

Yes, especially the Tokyo Movie Shinsha episodes.
>>

It's kind of hard to discuss this on /co/ because of all the autism and the counter-trolling this topic attracts, but in general the TMS episodes really were the better ones. They did the best animation work (they did the intro), they were also the most expensive, so the writers naturally gave them the best scripts they had.

The animation quality really matters to the physical gags. Here's some video comparisons:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKi34AGMVlI
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMaaIu23crQ

You can easily find studio info on Wikipedia by the production code. Kon Ducky, Music Day, Love Disconnection, Tiny Toon Music Television (introduced me to They Might be Giants as a wee lad), Take Elmyra Please, and the Summer Vacation movie were all pretty fun and still look great. You can tell they had fun animating those.

The two non-TMS episodes I do recall fondly is Citizen Max (if only because it was a parody of Citizen Kane), and an episode where Plucky had to rush through his animation class final. Avoid all the ones with the Dodo.
>>
>>78242827
Pretty much. I figured as much in the not one, but two Animaniacs-are-bullshit threads on now, and I have a feeling if we don't stop OP, there'll be a new wave of TINY TOONS IS FUCKIGN SHITE threads, so I'm just gonna say "No" to try and stem the tide.

You don't HAVE to fucking make yourself watch a cartoon because it's idolized by 90s kids. I didn't see much Nickelodeon growing up, but I don't feel obligated to watch every episode of Rocko's Modern Life just to go SO WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL WITH THIS HUH HUH HUH?!

YIFF IN HELL FURFAGS
>>
>>78250368

>>

I never understood why they didn't just use the LT characters.

The only original ones I can recall were Buster (I'd argue Babs is the Bugs clone while he's more "hip 80s/90's guy") and Shirley the Loon.

Everyone else, they're all exactly the same. Same personalities, if they didn't have their genders swapped they had the same voices, same basic shticks, what was the point?
>>
>>78252643
>I never understood why they didn't just use the LT characters.

Because they wanted to make a new generation of cartoon characters that were different from the previous generation. If they had the LT cast acting like the Tiny Toons, there would be an outrage from older fans. This allowed for them to continue on with that tradition but for the 90's with a new style of humour.

Was Montana Max the childish version of Yosemite Sam?
I never realized that Elvira is the girly version of Elmer Fudd, holy fuck
>>
>>78244278
Some references get lost to time, others are still known even today.
>>
>>78254213
First her name's Elmyra as a female take on Elmer and second those character models are really shitty. Bab's feet are totally off and proportions on Max and Elmyra are horrible. Also Elmyra's last name is Duff to make it more obvious she's a take on Elmer Fudd.
>>
>>78254213
Yeah, the name makes it pretty obvious.

Elmyra, yeah, I still can't believe she's supposed to be Elmer.
>>
>>78255795
She has the same face and her shtick is chasing animals as opposed to hunting them.
>>
>>78257050

Sexy Elmyra makes me feel uncomfortable since she based on Elmer Fudd
Max looks like motherfucking Biff Tanner
>>
>>
>>78243744
Well to be fair, they didn't change the Looney Toons, they just shifted to younger characters with similar gimmicks.

I'm pretty sure that Bugs, Daffy and a few other MC's show up throughout the show
>>
>>78259299
she should make you uncomfortable because she's 12
>>
>>78259538
I'm already unconfortable about that when they did things like this:
>>78259365
Sexy Elmyra is way more unconfortable because they want to make her sexy

Of course, I wasn't even 8 when I watched the show

>Reminder that Mary Melody is canonically 14.

And?
You seem to be implying that they've sexed her up too much for a minor, but all they've done is show her round, but figureless body in a swimsuit.

Which makes sense because she's obviously at the beach.

Saw this episode as a teenager and only wished it was the original Coal Black/So White in the role, who would be a knockout in a swimsuit. This was clearly just a little kid.

>>78261081
seriously? this show was pretty good
some nice humor, action, futuristic version of the looney tunes universe

i loved it
