I really don't get why /co/ hates this show, since it seems to me to be much closer to the classic Looney Tunes shorts formula than any of the other attempts at revitalizing their TV presence (Baby Looney Tunes, Loonatics, The Looney Tune Show)

And yes, I liked TLTS too, but I remember /co/ shitting on THAT until a few months after it started too. And I have a sinking feeling the bitching only stopped when they realized the shipping drama inherent.

animators these days know nothing about good animation and good music to go with it.

The looney tunes show was about the character's relationships to each other, just like a sitcom, and somehow it works because it knows it couldn't compete with the classic so why bother

the biggest problem isn't the writing or the joke but the animation. They don't do anything to make the slapstick actually funny. Whole show is just phoned in.
