Thanks so much for posting all this. I have been a Godzilla fan for 30 years. Seriously. One of my earliest memories was of being a four year old and watching Godzilla 1985 on TV for the first time. I also remember crying at the end. That music plus the shriek broke my heart for years and years. But I also watched Godzilla vs the Cosmic Monster (Mecha Godzilla) so I convinced myself Godzilla just burrowed from the volcano to the warehouse he mysteriously came out of.
Naturally I have every movie, even my old VHS of Godzilla 1985, the only one to never be printed on DVD.
I have a few imported toys from a place called "Young's Newsstand" In Bowling Green. I also have some of the toys from that brief spike in popularity Godzilla enjoyed back in the 90s.
But this is the toy I got for my 5th birthday and I managed to never lose over 29 years.
