That isn't armor. Not hard armor anyway, like that bronze plate at the top. That section of Diana's armor is normally portrayed as being flexible, and this version doesn't look to be any different. It almost looks like leather. Multilayer segments with flexible seams, hence all the lines.

Leather armour typically took the form of scales or larger "plates" boiled for hardness and attached to the "shirt", forming an interlocking weave of scutes that would protect against blows.

Leather and metal armour tended to use the same techniques and leather versions of armour just looked like browner versions of the metal ones - see byzantine lamellars.
