I imagine that Martians are beyond narrow human definitions of sexuality.

So, as someone with literally no exposure to the CW series (but is interested because J'onn), I turned on the most recent episode. Right away, we've got an incredibly strong female boss character, a strong black male character, our female protagonist, and a wimpy little beta male in cardigans who might very well be gay. Is this pretty much par for the course for this show?
