For me, the ugly art style was some of the appeal. It wasn't ugly like Secret Mountain Fort Awesome or the Problem solvers, but just ugly enough to make it attractive.

Where you have stuff like >>78148158 where people are smiling and mean well, and everything is nicely made and polished EEnE had people with serious flaws and stuff that was slapped together. Plywood Punk, if you will.

Any rate, after a few drinks, I don't remember what I was trying to say at first, but I liked it because it showed how flawed the characters were. It was like The Venture Bros of my childhood.

Season 1 is watchable but when it's bad, it's terrible and filler brings nothing - most fun character interactions are in the plot episodes anyway, same for character building moments. Nox has a cool design but he has the most standard capeshit tragic villain backstory so it's not as novelty as some people want to make you believe.

Season 2 largely resolves around buildup for more and more villains who ultimately do jackshit and a lot of the main and secondary characters, especially Ruel and Amalia and that map demon guy, get pushed into background.

The movie/whatever is unwatchable. The older one animated by another studio was amazing though, one Wakfu thing I'd actually recommend watching.

It doesn't help there's an ancient waifufag circlejerk here that prevents criticism and is pretty much one of the main reasons why the company stays afloat since their games apparently suck.

I thought I was gonna hate it but then my mind was completely changed after seeing it. It fucked me and my cousin up pretty bad and yet I still watched it several more times. It was just so compelling that I couldn't help myself.

When I showed it to my other cousin and mother they both kept complaining about how depressing it was and whatnot. They said I should go watch something happy and that it was bad due to how depressing it was.

Regardless, I really enjoyedthe film and how it got me to think deeply about myself and the world around me. I wish others could see the beauty I see in it.

I gave up halfway through season 3. None of the main characters are particularly interesting and they're very repetitive, which was pretty much the reason why I gave up.

Their personalities and interactions felt so forced. Only episode that stuck out enough for me to remember was the vampire one, which I thought was pretty fun. The style/animation isn't bad either, impressive for flash even.

I didn't get the boner for Aaron's Ghost Rider. Danny was made to be retarded, Huat's art didn't cut it for me, the whole thing reads like a very weak Hellblazer, something "edgy" but, you know, not really.
My biggest gripe, Aaron made a big deal of the fact that there are tons of Ghost Riders around the world and then proceeded to do NOTHING with them until the last couple of issues. These were the issues I liked.

I thought it was a very brilliant way to really get you thinking about life and the way some people are forced to live it. It used both sensory overload and deprivation to tell the story perfectly.
