To the surprise of absolutely no one, the One Sith suffered from infighting and usurper attempts, as you should have noticed when Darth Wyyrlock III betrayed Krayt and tried to seize the throne. The One Sith suffered the same long, slow collapse that the Sith Empires of old dealt with, unable to overcome the Galactic Alliance.

The Banite Sith WON. Their way WORKED. The Banite Sith, for the first time in galactic history, ENDED THE REPUBLIC and EXTERMINATED ALMOST THE ENTIRE JEDI ORDER. The only flaw in the Banite Sith was Vader's susceptibility to his son's attempts at redeeming him. Without that, Sidious could have established an eternal Empire that would never fall, completed his quest for immortality and lived forever as the immortal Emperor of the Galactic Empire.

The One Sith had to piggyback on the remnants of Palpatine's Empire just to get into power, and as soon as they had it, they lost it almost as quickly.

Continuity will always bug me, as much as I loved hearing Frank Oz as Yoda, I think they should have limited him to just being a force manifestation on Kanan's part, and not included that connection with Ezra.

It's arguably a minor point, and I don't think it affects the whole narrative too much. Regardless of whether or not Luke is actually the last of the Jedi, it's hard to disagree that he becomes the central/most important Jedi after Yoda's death.

Pleasantly surprised to be drawn into Hera and Sabine's stories, disappointed in Zeb.

Am I the only person who doesn't get why people complain about the PT fights? The only shit fights in the PT are when Yoda fights because it looks out of character as fuck, and the part of the Anakin/Obi Wan fight where they get on those tiny little things floating in the lava. Everything else was flashy, but not absolutely retarded or anything. I admit that the OT's fights were more emotional but generally the PT fights work well as just fights and aren't bad or anything even if they're worse than the OT ones.

Am I the only person who doesn't get why a character's depiction almost thirty years prior to how we last saw them is for some reason construed as out of character? You might as well say Han's accepting that the Jedi, Dark Side and the Force are real as out of character too. Yoda's view of things changed significantly between Episodes III and V, it shouldn't be so hard to see that, especially as of his own arc in TCW. He may have been 800 years old by the time of RotS, but that relatively small interval of time making up the Clone Wars and their abrupt end did so much more damage than anything else he may have seen in his eight centuries of life up till that point.

That doesn't really make much sense when between the Force and the lightsaber, the latter was the one used most often and much more applicable in a variety of situations. The lightsaber is part of what makes a Jedi who they are. As a whole, it may be the "symbol" and visual identifier of the Jedi Order, but it's no less important to the image and portrayal of the Jedi as the Force, the latter of which isn't quite as tangible. There definitely could have been better ways to portray their power and influence in the movies, but there wasn't much opportunity given the pacing of the plot. No one really needed to "learn" anything past TPM because it not only would disturb the flow of the narrative and character drama for spectacle, but also the characters as we'd come to know them already came with the necessary foundations.

Pretty much. They could've done this a long time ago and there had been talk of doing it since last year, they just didn't want to because a lot of them still had that "we should present them both equally and let readers decide which canon they prefer" which is just a douchey way of keeping legends as the preferred articles and downplaying canon. They've shown a distinct and sometimes aggressive reluctance to let go of the old way. Even though there was a unanimous vote to make canon the default, they act as if they're making some sacrifice for the good of the site and a lot of the major editors have stated they're still going to focus almost exclusively on editing legends articles.

They're no longer kicking and screaming about the new canon but they're still sure as hell pouting about it.

I have to second this. I honestly can't find Kylo Ren intimidating as a villain at all. Everything about him screams bargain basement Darth Vader wannabe, like the kind of character you'd find in a Star wars parody rather than an actual Star Wars movie. I know being a Darth Vader fanboy is supposed to be a part of his character and that he may actually turn out to be a threatening and effective villain in the movie, but looking at Kylo Ren now, yeah, don't consider him to be that impressive at all.

Eh, it's ok. Definitely better than the first few seasons of TCW but it's not amazing or anything yet. I think Rebels will get really good (maybe even better than the later TCW seasons) here in a few seasons since theoretically if they keep passing a year with each season we'll see some seasons set after the Battle of Yavin where it's a legitimate Civil War. Then I think it will go through the OT movies and end on a really good note with Ezra and Kanan training in Luke's Jedi Order after Episode 6.

What's your favorite moment in the movies? Mine is when Luke chops off Vader's hand and realizes that he's turning into Vader. I love how the whole OT is this kid who doesn't have a chance of bringing the Jedi back, constantly fucks up, and in the last movie almost completely turns to the dark side but it's that moment that makes him realize that he's doing the exact same thing his father did and makes him finally resist the Emperor and bring his father back to the light side.

Fulcrum is shown to be recruiting people for other cells, and it shows how Hera worked before Rebels to bring a cell to life. This is what's happening all across the galaxy with many different cells. The show doesn't focus on cells but one, so it doesn't give the important "galaxy view" some people obviously need.

Kylo is the most important one though. Not just because he's the Darth Vader-like enforcer, but also because of his past, his connection to every single protagonist, including Luke, Han and Leia, and because he seems to be the most complex and most interesting villain. Phasma is just an enforcer in shiny armor, Hux is Tarkin + Motti combined into one character and Snoke is the big bad. Kylo is the villainous link to both the old and the new protagonists.

They said he is a damaged villain who went through a lot. I guess he might not be at his full power at the moment, which is why he uses Kylo and the First Order to fight his enemies. Snoke might be the "Sauron" of Star Wars who wants to get his old strength back. That's just a wild guess though, but it would make sense.

Crix Madine arc that first begins with them having to deal with storm Commandos and nearly losing a member on Dentaal. Then having to help him defect, giving us an opportunity to make Kyle and Dark Forces canon when they botch the first attempt.

It would be interesting to see how Hera and the gang could handle working with a defector who has that much blood on their hands and nearly killed one of their own.
