The first season took itself too seriously, but it gets better over timeAlthough the 3rd season opening is awful
does this really exist? who thought this was a good idea?

It has 3 seasons??
>>78105332
No it doesn't. I fucked up
No, it's utter shit.

At the least, it's better than people give it credit for. It was basically Legion of Superheros but with Looney Tunes. Didn't really have many noteworthy villains, but it was alright in humor and action.

After Back in Action flopped, WB thought Looney Tunes weren't relevant anymore. So they made Loonatics in the hopes of making them more "hip".
Turns out Back in Action only flopped because it was a terrible movie, not because Looney Tunes weren't relevant. So Loonatics was pointless and no one wanted it.

Nothing spectacular, but not near as bad as everyone bitches about

If it was made 5 years earlier it might have had a chance.

No. But here's the thing . . . if this program were made today, kids would more than likely go nuts for it.

I liked it.
What up, BITCH!
>tfw I actually like edgy remakes
Sometimes a universe needs a dose of drama and actual plot.

I think even /co/ would go nuts about it, since it'd probably be one of the only action cartoons airing, and it'd almost be a breath of fresh air instead of one of many.
It wasn't actually a bad IDEA, but combination of
1) FUGLY 1980s-Real-Ghostbusters-style character designs and
2) superserious first-season storytelling approach
really, REALLY hurt it.

2nd season is okay. Skim the first to get the gist of the plot, imo. I don't think it ever really reached 'good', but it's not bad overall for what it was trying to be.
