It almost completely blows my mind that people could not loathe Man of Steel. I understand there's no accounting for tastes and everyone's different and etc, it's just, really, even for non-superhero fans, that's just a bad movie. The score and the cinematography were the only good parts, even the good actors sucked because of the script. I've literally not met a single person who has enjoyed it. Honestly, most of them are better than the vast majority of comicbook films. Actual character arcs, consistent, well-delivered themes, superb actors... X-Men, X2, First Class and DoFP are genuinely good action films that go well beyond what most cape films even try at.

Of course, X3 and Wolverine Origins are two of the steamiest turds to ever steam, but I'd take DoFP over any three DC/Marvel films.
