Bebop and Rocksteady are essentially the only redeeming parts in this shitpile. They actually look nice, it's just that everything else is straight up awful. The trailer alone has so many Michel Bay cliches you can fill out a bingo board. Shredder was one thing, but I want the Turtles to get their shit rocked after how easily they picked off mooks before.

Since the superpowers are just above street but below full Superman or Hulk, this is the kind of setting where equal parts power and technique matter, it needs to dawn on the turtles they have to evolve constantly to keep up. They have no real saving grace advantage. How they adapted during the truck chase was cute, but it still felt non-threatening for them. They were being stalled at best, not opposed or threatened. Shredder was one thing, but it needs to be more frequent.

In turn I hope the most ridiculous action and choreography known to man to come from this series as it grows.
