I'm trying to do you a favor because I used to think Dune was just the greatest thing ever too. And I think if you're the kind of guy who likes Dune, you'd probably like Cherryh a lot more.

But if the idea of reading anything else besides Herbert for the rest of your life just curdles your stomach, then forget about it. It's not worth getting upset over.

Books-wise I find that question really difficult because so many of my favourite authors primarily wrote short stories. Comics-wise I still find it difficult but mainly because there are few full comics runs I rate highly. Daredevil: Born Again would be on there though.
