It's more than just her appearance, whenever she was on screen you just knew someone was gonna get beat down either literally of verbally.

She was great, especially in the season 2 finale. Day of the black sun, too. She actually kicked their asses pretty hard. When she showed up, you knew she might actually win. Everyone had to kick in high gear competence just to survive. One of the best executed animated villains' I've seen.

I thought the concept, initial execution, and build up of Bill to the point where he, well, destroyed the world, was actually amazing, but I don't like a lot of what they've done with him the past two episodes. I still hope the finale will be great, but I'm probably going to wish I could've seen what they'd do with the character with a slightly longer (or just better paced) series and maybe a slightly higher rating.

I kind of agree with you on both counts. Bill was kind of a generic evil trickster once he took over.

Azula was great overall, I feel like there was some more potential than was explored in the follow up to the finale. I've thought a bit too much about how I'd depict an adult Azula wandering the Earth Kingdom in exile.

Yeah, Bill felt he went from something very weird and new to something we've seen a thousand times before.

Azula, I haven't really followed the comics, but I've heard people say they were dissappointed, which is too bad. I thought she was mostly great in the series proper (I did have some issues with season 3, but mostly not with Azula).

Kingpin. by far. i grew up on the early Spidey comics when he was Spidey's, if not arch, then most common enemy. seeing the revamp of Norman Osborn was like watching an off-kilter version of Wilson Fisk run SHIELD.

Something I liked from the comics was Zuko trying to navigate his relationship with Azula.

Although ultimately implied and not canonical, the concept at the end of the Zuko story arc was a little weak. It's definitely more a fizzling ending than something which feels definitive.
