But thanks for the storytime, OP. I've been looking forward to this. Too bad this is a doomed series with a relatively obscure protagonist, with sub-par writing and art. It really shows how utterly doomed it is when hardly anyone shows up to read. A real shame.

The first issue was pretentious and lackluster so I didn't want to bother with it. At least its getting interesting and I do like it when the "new" avengers team gets trounced. We'll see how it goes from here.

I liked it too, OP. I bought two copies of this issue. The reg and the Steve Epting '92 variant with Dane in the bomber jacket.

I wonder if Tieri remembers Dane's science skills. Or the fact that he killed the Supreme Intelligence during Operation: Galactic Storm.
