Bunch of idiot kids named themselves Robin and started to "fight crime" on Gotham. Court of Owls catched on this and manipulated the situation so the GCPD deemed them outlaws just to lure back Dick into Gotham.

That is how it was advertised but nope, is all the Court of Owls doing. There are some stuff here and there about what it means the mantle but is not really the focus.

Other books have Jason acting like the stereotypical bad boy that doesn't allows himself to show any weakness. But here, we see a Jason that completely trusts Tim and shares with him his insecurities while Tim reciprocrates as well.

In the same way, he doesn't mentions the family at all. And when he does, is because he's interacting with them.

With that in mind, Jason's outburst on Grayson 12 makes no sense because Jason was never close enough to Dick to warrant it.

Pretty good issue. I guess Lobdell learned to only mention a crossover and just keep on keepin on. And this way Roy gets to do more and help set up the next arc.

Lobdell's Jason makes no sense, because his character keeps regressing every three issues. King's characterization is more consistent, makes sense given how frequently Jason shows up in Batfamily stories, and isn't cringey to read.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but despite never liking Lobdell's writing, I love his reworking of Joker's Daughter. Cause despite loving Duela Dent, this girl has been absolutely awful in every appearance till now, now though she's actually someone I can see myself growing to really like. Thank you Lobdell.

Seeley and King have been writing Grayson with the "everything is in continuity" perspective we've seen Morrison use. Half of the Jason quotes from the issue you mentioned were from pre-COIE, where Dick was cool with Jason, and he was the one who gave Jay permission to be Robin in the first place. It's not like they were strangers.
