Who cares the vast majority of X-men characters that were either created or gained prominence in the 90s like Gambit, Cable, Bishop or Apocalypse are dog shit.

In fact, I'd argue with anyone that Apocalypse is the worst "major" villain in either Marvel or DC. He has all these godly powers and the ability to give others godly powers. He has CELESTIAL technology, time travel technology, has the intelligence of a thousand Mr. Fantastics and is effectively immortal.

Yet he gets curb stomped by the fucking X-men in every goddamn story.

Definitely. The only time he wasn't garbage was in X-men Evolution but even then they ruined it by making him like the comic book version by the story's conclusion.

Damn shame, I always found his designs and powers to be cool as shit. How does a person with self molecular manipulation sustain damage for any extended moment? Shouldn't he be able to fix himself? Why is Celestial armor cheaper than adamantium? Honestly they could be more creative with his transformations too, why turn one arm into a gun or sword when you can be anything.
