>AoS: The Phantom Pain: Punished Coulson Edition
Welcome back /co/! Agents of SHIELD is all new tonight with its Winter Finale.
>"Maveth" [Dec 8th]
A battle between Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. will change Coulson's world; Fitz and Coulson take a huge risk.
>Where can I watch the episode?
Both of these were recommended in the last thread and should be streaming the episode.
>What else do I need to know about the show?
Agents of SHIELD is now in its third season. InHumans, more comics shit, good character development are just a few of the new perks.
>I've missed an episode!/ I have no idea whats going on but im going to post anyways!
Good news! We have a handy dandy pastebin located here:
There's lots of neat things in there like previous discussions, episode guide and some other goodies. If you're just joining us or missed a previous ep, Netflix has both Season 1 and Season 2 available for watching! If you live in another country, you might be shit out of luck. Sorry bros.
Archive moe is gone, will try to fix up our pastebin a bit, now we'll be getting archives from desustorage
by the way, Agent Carter returns in January taking up AoS's space til March
>who gonna win the simmonsbowl
>who gonna get ded
By the end of the episode Fitz will have reached something in Ward. Fitz is gonna figure out Ward is so crazy because he betrayed all of them, the people that were more like a family than either his real family or Hydra ever were. Ward feels bad, that's all.
Then Ward gets left on the planet and goes even crazier.
Nah i'm too busy jerking off to drink during agent carter
>shaped like an octopus even though the symbol wasn't an octopus at first
Every week you post this and every week I fap
based Coulson will come through in the end, I know it
>Big avengers not good at stealth rescue
They are also currently across an ocean and none of them provide anything other than a famous name to the plan seeing as Mockingbird and co. are on par with the purely human avengers.
Seriously they aren't an omnipresent force for good.
>tfw Fitz is the one who manages to kill Ward after the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. has failed time after time
End of episode predictions:
>mediocre twist that's more related to Agent Carter
>Chad is the bad-man, goo goo g'joob
>Fitz will possessed by whatever and evil
>Andrew will be gone permanently and 100% Lash
>Simmons will get powers
Ward is my most hated villain this year right after Banno.
She's only 7 years older than her.
>TFW Spaceward turns out exactly how you thought.
I FUCKING CALLED IT LIKE A HALF HOUR AGO
HA HA HA! Will's body is a host for the great evil.
>We have to go!
>slowly kill Ward to dramatic music
WARD IS FINALLY DEAD, REJOICE RE...wait a minute...the creature is going to take his body....isn't it....
>inb4 The Evil revives Ward and uses his body as a host
The evilest. Pray for the agents of Shield.
ITT: We remember the fallen.
Press W to pay respects.
>jemma walks right by fitz to see if will is there
>Ward escapes the cycle of revengeance
>Coulson is consumed by it
>God of Ward descends to shit on Coulson's life for being literally worse than Ward
I already miss grieving asshole Ward. Can't believe he just let himself get Obi Wan'd like that.
Ward only fairly recently showed up in the comics, but he's not tied to anyone yet as far as we know I believe.
Ward becoming Taskmaster has been an ongoing thing since he turned Hydra, although there hasn't been much to support it up to this point.
Considering the alien thing can mimic people's looks or "infect" them, I guess it's possible it could give Ward "powers" in a sense to mimic people's fighting styles or powers and such.
No, I actually like him a lot and people always say he's the best part of the show
It's a little absurd that he managed to live for so long though, and it was beginning to be over-the-top ridiculous how often he gets away
All I know is a lot of my hype for the second half of the season is gone because GREATEST AGENT IN THE WORLD GRANT WARD is now just manlet Nemesis.
The least he could've done was go out muttering "strike me down...," just to exit with the last laugh.
Or maybe the show will surprise me and Grant Ward's Wild Ride will go into multitrack drift.
I went to a Q/A of his last month and Agents is the only reason he is still in the game. They started working on it for PS3 but Sony was like nah restart for the PS4 fire everyone and hire more recognizable actors, but keep this guy he has a show tied to Marvel.
I would get on it, but I just realized our next talkback will be in March
