Scene

A ordinary man on his way to work stops for a cola. He gets a can from the machine, opens it, and after one sip he falls to the ground convulsing with foam dripping out his mouth. He then rapidly morphs into a gorilla adorned with futuristic regalia. The gorilla looks up and sniffs the air as a smile spreads across his face.

The Jersey Devil goes around the world, fighting cryptids, aliens, and conspiracies.

In the middle of a zombie apocalypse, a group of survivors try to rebuild some sort of civilization, but aside from the zombies, there are other groups of survivors that want to steal their resources, or worse.
...But it still gets pretty boring around since the place is pretty much deserted.
There's your typical adventure hero, who is also a "strong woman" character, she is the one that has to protect the small town they've made... And she's mostly useless because she's a pretty lazy idiot.
There's this scientist who is working on a cure for the zombification. Maybe, it'll be ready tomorrow. Possibly. Perhaps. Don't count on it since he mostly does other stuff.
There are other survivors too, like a drunk policeman, a cook that actually cooks terrible with the excuse that he hit his head, a small girl that takes the whole apocalypse thing oddly well and takes advantage of everyone and a rich guy that is always carrying his money around on a bag to not get stolen, that's what I can think of now, but there would be lots of characters of varying importance.

A demon wants to be redeemed, so she has to look after the well-being of an average middle-class Italian-American family.

A young reporter is mysteriously transported into a twisted alien planet inspired by the Wild West. In order to figure out how to get back home, she teams up with a decrepit old gunslinger, with a single tentacle for an arm and a mouth in the back of his head. This creature is on a personal journey to liberate the alien planet from a gang called the "Psychopathic Psyx" and help any down trodden he finds along the way.

The world is being controlled by an Illuminati-esque group with secret agents all around the world.

Said group is actually a bunch of incompetent buffoons who consistently have to deal with budget cuts, excessive paperwork, poor communication, and irritating conspiracy theorists.

A typical episode may have one branch of the conspiracy start a fake anti-Illuminati movement, planning to eliminate everyone who joins. Other branches get word, and send their own agents in as spies to investigate.

Another episode has the Illuminati struggling trying to get a hot tub delivered to their base without doing anything to arouse the salesman's suspicion.

Another has them forcing to secretly operate from a new office due to leaky ceilings.

The most frequently recurring cast members are

I want this so bad

Lowly MC is a pathetic loser who has all but given up on life. He's a fantasy nerd or whatever and decides to practice guitar to gain hot chicks. He fashions himself after a bard in his nerd fantasy games and unintentionally plays a spell instead of his regular jam. He goes to sleep planning to show off his (meager) skills at school the next day.
He wakes up in a fantasy citadel to someone shouting at him. It's a hot blue chick who is imprisoned there. She's a demon who was finally captured, stripped (of her powers), and imprisoned there. After awhile of MC being a confused idiot they make a pact that if he rescues her, she will help him get home (in reality she just needs someone as a meatshield while she gains her powers back).
The universe is a space-western science fantasy, with a bunch of different feudal worlds and asteroid clusters all lumped together. After a cool shoot-out they steal an experimental spaceship that runs off of sound being converted to raw energy (MC needs to play sick psychedelic jams in order for the ship to fly). It also hops realities.
The celestial bureaucracy soon realizes that blue chick is gone and sends supernatural hit-men after them. Que cast of memorable villains that chase them across the galaxy.
MC and stronk female character form a closer platonic relationship as the series progresses. S1 involves them fleeing from hitmen with the MC trying to find great sages to explain to him how to get back home and teach him to play guitar. Finale has the blue girl get captured and condemned to hell. S2 the MC has the opportunity to leave, but embarks on a risky mission to the bowels of hell to save his friend, maybe with some new friends as well.

I'm doing one of my cartoony toon ideas for my junior film at college.

It's about a little girl and her older brother who run away from home and get into wacky hijinks. Other stuff happens too, but I'm still working out plot details. And the girl has no arms because it's quirky, I guess.

I'm going to animate it with paper cutouts.

The main character Simon is a scrawny weakling moving to a new school district or going off to college or other equivalent in rural New England. The school is a looming structure with Gothic architecture and a lot of history. The town is similar and has had witch trials in the past, now rumored to be the home of numerous cultists.
Looking for people to fit in with, Simon mistakenly joins a secret club that practices magic.
There are four characters that are part of this club:
>Asian-American qt senior who dabbles in all forms of magic. She was an extra member of the past club and never got to commit to any particular branch. She is knowledgeable but often unavailable and usually underestimates the situation, leaving the other characters to deal with it.
>Well-natured backwoods hick/stoner who learns druid magic. He often skips classes to chill in the school greenhouse, and is usually seen taming various animals and growing various magical plants. He is Simon's sidekick. Rarely gets mad but when he does he polymorphs into a werebear
>Emotional love interest sophmore who is learning elemental magic. Her powers are derived from emotion, so she is sarcastic, bitter, and borderline bipolar. Deep down she's sensitive, ect.
>Simon is given ceremonial magic, which is less cool than all the others. He rarely can defend himself adequately from the problem at hand, but is often tasked to solve it.
Mayhem ensures as the club causes and solves various supernatural problems in school and around town. Simon struggles to balance school and social life with magic related hi-jinks.

I have noticed there's a big lack of fantasy / high fantasy in modern cartoon.

I've been playing with the idea of babby's first fantasy trying to capture the general feel of awe I get from Tolkien & D&D stuff. Two guys travelling the land having adventures and learning about lore, with it's own magic and gods, eventually playing a part in a confrontation between the powers that be.

My dream cartoon would be about humanized websites living together in an apartment in the city. The main character is Myspace, he's a loser guy who's trying to get his music career started up, and his roomie is Facebook, a cool college football guy who's stuck living in the past and spends his time drinking and womanizing. His other pals are Youtube, a chubby film student who wants to make a indie film but keeps getting ignored for camwhores and Lets Players, and Reddit, the annoying jokey guy.

His love interest in Tumblr, a sweet girl with a good heart who wants to make a difference in the world but is confused about who she is and ends up naively bandwagoning on movements a lot. She's friends with Deviantart, a typical artsy girl who encourages all art (No matter how bad) and can't take criticism, and Twitter, a girl who never stops texting and talking about herself. Also included are dork girls Wikia, TvTropes and Fanfiction, who are a gang of basement dwelling fandom girls who spend all day talking about OTPs and shipping.

4chan isn't initially part of the main cast, they're introduced in an episode where the cast meets a bunch of 4chan Anons. They're a secret society group of people who hang out and talk about their interests. They seem nice at first, until they try to force everyone into anonymity with green masks and suits.

One of the anons helps them escape and moves in with them. It's never revealed what board they're from, but they drop contradicting hints all the time.

But it's firmly a dream, because there's no way you could work it out with copyrights and licensing. Maybe it could work as a webcomic. The biggest thing though, is how completely dated it would be in ten years or so.

I'd make an action cartoon about kids with superpowers working for the government in distopian future. And make it plot-heavy and full of betrayal and basically kind of like Deus Ex plot-wise.

Start it more like fun and lighthearted adventure and dwell in both corruption of leadership and its despiration to control its assets and psychological impact of being basically child soldiers.

I can't even write properly, and the days I get low shakes with good muscle control I doodle a bit here and there. I typed out a lot of decent stories years back, lost to a computer burn out.

The best from memory was humanizing old folktales in an un-christian light. All those old tales of elves being kind? They weren't. Especially sea going types of legend.

I was going to have an epic but I lost the 2,000 page version. I'll greentext a part of it.

Man, I want this

A show about teams from rival museums who go back in time to 'acquire' items that have been thought to be lost.

If something was said to be lost to time it meant that one of the acquisition agents got it. The thing is nobody knows who grabbed what and when they're supposed to get it until the job is completed and the item ends up in a museum.

The white whale of the acquisition community is Atlantis. They know the reason nobody can find it is because at some point it was acquired. Everybody's been searching for clues hoping it was their team who acquired it all along.

They have to be very careful not to pollute history and potentially come back to a future that could theoretically no longer value what they went to the trouble to acquire.

The show would focus more on the interpersonal relationships and the effects of their jobs rather than their actual jobs.

I want to make something about a city in constant turmoil between a police force and violence/overall disruption of the peace. The twist is It's based in your typical japanese fantasy/D&D world, full of crazy humanoids, witches, dragons, monsters etc. The main character would be like Toma from Magical Index (can cancel magic) and the setting would be something akin to Kekkai Sensen (nice fantasy take on the real world).

The episodes would flow like x-files and be weird problem/monster of the week, solving some new thing with different officers of the police department. He would be roommates with a lazy NEET dragon. The chief of police would be a little witch girl who's actually thousands of years olds.

Mancat. A disgruntled dock worker in a catsuit. His roommate is a man split down the middle where each side fights with the other despite basically being the same person. His name is Manman. Because Right Manman and Left Manman are so competitive with each other, they actually both pay half the rent, letting Mancat live rent free. They have a friend named Car Shoes. He wears shoes that are cars. He is also obsessed with dragons. His dad is a ragged bum in a tattered catsuit named Dadcat who keeps telling people that they'll be hit by a bus. His mom is a literal cat.

Mancat's main foe is a twisted murderer called the Time Killer. He takes victims to the docks to kill them and then immediately travels back in time to warn the police, who show up and kill him after the deed is done so they always think they caught him. He's Mancat's foe because Mancat is always stuck cleaning up the aftermath.

I had an idea to spoof Alan Moore's For the Man Who Has Everything where Mancat is married and he doesn't work on the docks. Like, there are no other details other than people tell him that "you don't work on dem goddamned docks."

For my portfolio class I'm working on concept art for a cartoon pilot.

The show would basically be about a space station full of lunatics with zero ethics and limitless government funding. Not a day goes by without a cyborg uprising or an alien parasitic infestation. The main character is the lowly janitor who has to clean up all their messes. Despite being somewhat of a loser she's the one sane character on the station and the only one keeping the place together. Imagine space station 13 if the protagonist was Lister from Red Dwarf, but with a rick and morty brand of comedy.

Player vs Player or PvP
Two gamer teens going on misadventures trying to balance fantasy with reality without letting either consume them. The "in game" portions are from the point of view of how the characters are imagining the inside of the game. The girl, pictured here >>78012930 (You) is a lazy slacker with no ambitions who just coasts through life not really caring about anything. The guy is somewhat "preppy" and has dreams of becoming a game developer, which he strives for constantly. He can take things a little too seriously and let the stress get to him. The girl helps the guy relax, the guy helps the girl not drop out of highschool as a useless stoner, and they mostly just get up to various hijinks.

For me, one improtant part is the dedication to reality. No cartoon physics or sillyness that couldn't really happen, with the exception of when they are shown inside the games, which is the exact opposite.

I also had an idea where each episode is titled as an acronym related to gaming or other nerd culture, kind of like knd.

Here's the response from the head of Creative Development.
The truth is, I don't know what to say. I like "Monsters Across America" well enough. However, I'm reluctant to pull the trigger on it and I can't explain why not very well. There are more positives than negatives, for sure. Maybe it's that the characters are a mummy and whatever kind of creature Gilbat is. It's difficult to warm up to them, for me, at least.
I thought the pitch had funny moments (I enjoyed your four-year-old YouTube videos, too), and the story was clear, even if I'm unsure of what the one-sentence log line would be. In other words, what's each character's goal throughout? I'm not sure what the short's about till there's a missing sock halfway through. Ultimately, though, it's not really about Gilbat looking for a missing sock or him fixing the dryer, I don't think. I didn't find myself asking, "What happens next?"
In the end, I'm not saying, "Man, I want to hang out with these guys." For what it's worth, I lean more towards Gilbat (he eventually had a thing to do and I know why he wanted to do it).
Sorry. I wish this would be worse so I'd have an easier time passing on it. Thanks, again, and best of luck to you and "Monsters Across America."

Film Club is about three kids in an international school who make movies. Natascha is a new student and she’s crazy about film making! She’s been home-schooled her whole life because her parents have travelled around the world due to their work, so this is her first time in a proper school. She has trouble fitting in due to her eccentric personality but eventually meets up with Kim and Hamish. The school has a policy in order to make students more well-rounded which involves taking part in CAS (Creativity, Action, Service) and both Kim and Hamish are missing hours in the Creativity department. All the other school creativity clubs are filled up and there’s nothing else available, except for Natascha’s recently formed Film Club. They begrudgingly join, but Natascha’s enthusiasm eventually rubs off on them and they genuinely begin to enjoy the collaborative effort. After Hamish and Kim finish their required creativity hours they become fulltime members of the club and continue to make movies with Natascha.

Typical episodes feature a main ‘real world story’ and a ‘film story’. There is be a conflict in the ‘real world’ that will be reflected in the current film they are making, through a specific parody or genre, along with various film techniques. The conflict is often resolved through ideas or qualities they achieve by making the films.

For example: If one of the characters has a crush on someone they’ll be working on a romance movie. The reality of the true romance will contrast with the romanticised version of what they’re filming. The film would also make homages to famous romance movies but contextualized for the show, as well as using similar cinematography

A show about a Halloween town run by monsters and the entire town is scared to death of a little witch girl who casts various spells to get what she wants. Think Mandy from Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy crossed with Vendeta from Making Fiends and Ashley from the Warioware franchise.

But at the same time she has her foil, her older brother who's also a witch but is always cheerful and happy and uses his magic to make everyone smile and shit. But since cutsey colorful things aren't the norm in the halloween town he's constantly shunned by his peers because of it.

I'm not sure if I want to make this a comic or a cartoon but.
A fantasy type story about 2 girls traveling around the world going on adventures while trying to become musicians.
Clover (left) is an ex arena fighter who decides after a train accident that costs her her left arm that she wants to pursue music. She's got a lot of ambition but her saxophone playing is rather sparadic and wild.
Sweet Grass (right) is a farm girl who knows basically nothing about life outside of her farm. She's a musical genius and is the one person who can tune and accompany clover's wild style.
Clover agrees to take her around the world on the transcontinental train so long as they can go to the big music Festival that takes place in 80 days.

A young boy wishes he were a girl but, through a wacky mishap it comes out as "girl-AHHHHH!!" which his fairy guardian interprets as "gorilla" and the guardian also assumes the infamous on the girl part was because he wants to be a female gorilla.

oh and of course for the sake of comedy he goes back and forth between being a human boy and a female gorilla (sometimes or often against his own wishes/at the worst timing for him).

Main characters are a gruff, long-lived elf-ish character that has everything down to a routine, and his rookie partner- who has been a sherrif for 20 years and is having to learn a whole new set of ropes. Elements of 80s buddy cop movies. Swords, bows, horseback riding, tight pants. Fantasy race equivalents are stand ins for different groups typical in westerns- elves are native Americans, orcs are chinese, etc

Very episodic and serialized, issues are things like quelling orc riots, providing protection for asshole nobles, escorting a pair of young sisters, monster-a-week stuff, etc

This is a show that takes place about 67 million years ago, in a marsh in the middle of what's now the Gobi Desert, about the unlikely companionship between two dinosaurs, a saurnothoides named Trev (the small one), and a deinocheirus named Danny (the big one).
After Danny saves Trev from a pack of velociraptors, they become close friends. Trev fancies himself something of an entrepreneur, and strives to use his wits to make a name for himself in the prehistoric world. Danny is more laid back and content with just spending his life fishing in the shallow riverbanks, but still makes an effort to keep Trev out of trouble, and/or beating the snot out of whatever gets in his way.
Basically a slice-of-life slapstick comedy with dinosaurs, because god damn it, dinosaurs need to come back into the mainstream.

Nice title of an episode.

I had this idea about an animated TV show.
It's set in California in an unspecific future, America's states have turned into fully self-governing city-states of sorts, and government corruption has gone up a lot.
One of the three main characters is a soldier who was supposed to have died along with his platoon in a secret experiment by the government, but he used his cunning-&-wits to escape, turning his back on his friends, and got thrown in jail.
The other was the highest-ranking scientist working for the government in top secret projects, the most brilliant mind alive, an expert in all fields of science - the problem is, he's a little insane and with poor moral perception, something the government exploited to get him to develop things he would doubtlessly be against. One day he has enough of it, and gets thrown in jail.
The last was a teenage vandal selected by the military to be part of a super-soldier program (they saw potential in him). He basically grows up raised by the government, and turns into a formidable killing machine, but one day realizes how corrupted the people who hold his leash are and escapes, along with all his other super-soldiers. He is one of only two who survive. But gets thrown in jail.
They're all in the same cell, and decide to combine their strengths to escape jail, atone for their sins and overthrow the fascist Californian governor.

I had this idea that was like a revamp of the Jetson's retro future.
Like you follow this one family with a dad, mom, grandma, teenage daughter, and kid son in this world that is in the aftermath of a robot war.
The town they live in is small and in the sky like the Jetsons, but they have railways between the houses since the war and cars hang from those now, people walk on top. The town is actually is ignoring the government because the war destroyed most everyone's communications and the country's gone anarchy to the federal government. This town happened to have older computers with no true ai and were able to sustain themselves.
But the whole story is just a light and fluffy comedy about this idealistic family in a crappy world.
The framing device is the family telling each other about their day while sitting down at the table where they eat strange futuristic poor people pill food (since only rich people can afford real food and the government still rations every family's intake) and play a mobile phone style game on the tabletop that's like a giant computer screen.
The dad is a janitor at some business building, since robots can't take that job anymore.
The mom is a 50's style stay-at-home-mom but actually has a job as an online article writer.
The daughter goes to school but also has a job as a maid to help support the family.
The son goes on adventures with his friends in town.
The grandma is in a hip hop meme squad youtube group with other old ladies at the gym.

it'd be kinda similar to Mystery Incorporated or Gravity Falls, really only because spoopy mystery in spoopy town. At first I was worried that I'm just copying shit but honestly this is a trope that's been varied upon a million times before so I don't care anymore.

Kid moves into spook town with his mom, it's called Crookhaven. He stumbles upon (and into) an old well inna woods that takes him to a long nail stuck in a big ass tree. He removes nail, nail gets embedded in his wrist. This sets off a chain of events: descendants of witches getting power back, creepy things intensifying (monsters and shit), guide-like enigmatic character informs kid that he's now caught in the middle of a hunt for some treasure that's locked away somewhere in the town, and he's gonna be screwed if he doesn't unlock it first. Nail lets him touch other planes, spooky planes and shit, he has to solve 7 Urban legends regarding the town to find the thing before they do. Long ass description, sorry.

Few things to know,

MC: October Sunday. Highly intelligent child with a workshop for explosives, traps, experimental shit, all to achieve his goal of world domination. Calculating.

The Witch Descendants: now a bunch of soccer moms or council members who have mostly dismissed the magic shit in the past as bullshit. Except the mayor. She becomes the antagonist.

honestly it doesn't matter how stupid the idea is, as long as it's accepted and executed well it's not gonna matter. At the same time, that means posting ideas is pointless because execution will either turn it to shit or gold.

There's a group of bees that live at the Zoo.
They make heavy metal songs.
The queen is known as queen Death Hun.
They get inspiration from animals for their music.
Each episode follows them researching some animal and adding it to the metal band : Rotton Zoo.
