I'm optimistic. Not terribly HYPED but I trust Genndy to do good based on his relationship with his past projects (not so much the people behind them).

I just feel weird being positive about this. The direction network television seems to be taking is a little odd. All of this "hey, we're bringing back ____!!" is such a cheap way to get dumb people with money to pony up for shows they've already watched. Not to mention, this is really telling of intellectual bankruptcy. I guess suits aren't interested in taking risks.

Anyway, I'm happy that a new season is being produced. Since it's on Adult Swim more mature themes can be handled without Genndy having to worry about making it "kid friendly". The spirit of the show should still be in there: Noble, stoic Jack wandering the world. I think it'll be great especially with today's technology.

I just hope it's not CG, but we'll see.

I made that post. The animation in that gif is atrocious. Season 1 is definitely not a good contender for "good flash".

I don't really have any good examples of Wakfu/Dofus aside from a few gifs, still pics, and this. Ankama knows what they're doing in terms of animation (check out the delicious Dofus movie trailer in the catalog). It's an acquired taste, I'll admit, and I disliked their style at first, but it grew on me.

The only thing I really dislike about the animation is the minimal use of shadows on characters, but that's because of the whole tweening thing. Would take a hell of a lot of time... and money.

Soo what's everyone's favorite episode? And favorite VS. episode?Not necessarily the best or well-animated, just the one you look forward to the most.

My dad and I love to watch Jump Good and Jack's Sandals whenever we want to watch it again. Jack vs. the Ultra Robots is my overall favorite though, never fails to give me chills.
