I just found this gem of a series. I was a pretty big fan of Looney Tunes when I was a kid but I had completely missed that they made series for adults (kind of anyway). Because I think they are made with adults in mind, somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not American so I'm not 100% sure about this but they are airing on Cartoon Network and that makes it a children's show? '
Either way I like it and I wonder if there are any other shows like it from Warner Bros. I'm currently downloading Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. I hope that it is made with the same kind of humor as The Looney Tunes Show. And I'm getting Wabbit but that sounds less good because it is supposed to be just a bunch of shorts, but I will give that a try again.
Please give me good series please.
You have to able to separate the two obviously.
The classics are very great but the new show is fun in a completely different way.
Duck Dodgers looks very good. I've been searching for a new sci-fi series for a while now and this wasn't quiet what I was think of it will do for now.
Really no interest in this what so ever?
Pic related is like one of my most hated characters (on the left) I've ever seen on the screen. She is up there with Malcolm (i the Middle)'s mother or Walter White's wife, I really hate her.
I still want my daffy wizard adventures in the vein of Overlord
Honestly this show was way better than it had any right to be.
Not trying to say it was the best thing ever or equivalent to the shorts, but the premise makes it sound a hell of a lot worse.
This is kinda exactly what I think. I wouldn't even think about giving it a chance if it wasn't for some guy doing something at Mike Tyson Mysteries did something at this show.
What is the difference? Here in Sweden we just have the one channel with all both programming on them. We also don't get Adult Swim at all.
Nice show I say.
What is the target demographic for this show?
I mean they kind of WERE. They were dating genderbent versions of their best friend, Bugs was with Lola (who was practically a female Daffy) and Daffy was dating Tina (whose personality was likewise similar to Bugs).
Daffy also wanted to take Bugs to a romantic dinner that one episode. Bugs kinda freaked out and told Daffy that he should take a WOMAN to romantic dates.
And then Daffy went on about how he never got along well with women.
I smell a fish
>You'll be the bottom.
>No! You're going to bottom!
>Well then, if you say so...
>Why does this happen every time?
>Because I'm not stupid...
It's the best cartoon adaptation of a live-action sitcom so far.
>He'd bottom to someone like Elmer
So that's why he wants that wabbit
>he doesn't spend his free time contemplating the sex life between Bugs and Daffy
I wan't Daffy to stop being a smug asshole and be fun again.
You gotta admit, the show was kind of gay.
Weren't most Looney Tunes Show threads on /co/ just full Bugs/Daffy homo?
Japs also seem to ship Pepe le Pew/Penelope. Of course they would like the most rapey pairing.
>implying you wouldn't a human Daffy
I'm sure most people just liked this show because it features the LT characters, there's absolutely no other quality to it
Same goes for space jam and looney tunes: back in action, or most other shows, just shit you put up with so you can see Bugs and Daffy again
Al Bundy was a dumb, funny, bumbling fool
Malcom's mom just came across as a real bitch who wasn't that dumb, wasn't that funny, and actually got stuff done, then again I only watched a little of that show
WB should really up the homo in the next project they do, fujoshi help keep shows alive.
>not even including Daffy in Wabbit
Show didn't come close to the shorts, but what the fuck is going to come close to a produced-for-film animation short? Do you people even understand the level of detail that has to be bound up in something that's intended to be displayed on a 30 foot by 40 foot movie screen?
>tfw Tina will never exist in anything again, ever
IIRC, depending on the thread, it'd be mostly about Lola, homo and crossdressing, with some discussion here and there. Near the end of the show's run, it was mostly waiting for Petunia to finally show up.
A super demanding and angry bottom who gets really into it but then acts like the sex was "meh" once it's over.
>You would not believe the shit they said about the US during World War II.
You're making me curious
This person draws Bugs way too cute. I love it.
Their art looks so damn official, it's great.
>there are people out there who prefer Bugs to be with Lola
Plebbiest of pleb taste.
>He probably wants to give Bugs the D.
Pfft, in his dreams. The situation would probably go like >>77897391
>Dumb, bumbling fool
Granted, it didn't come across for most of the series, but Al wasn't stupid, nor that clumsy.
90% of his fuck ups and shortcomings came from the fact that he simply stopped giving a fuck, and escaped into cynicism, which is what gave him his funny bone.
The fact that he was literally cursed probably didn't help.
Lois in may things was a version of him who just refused to slip.
This motherfucker went from hero to zero with this episode.
Fuck him for ruining Bugs day just because Daffy is being a cunt as usual. Don't give Daffy his ticket, this is OK, but don't tear up Bugs' ticket. And why would you tear up your own ticket?
Fucking pig didn't even really want to go to the game, even though he played in high school. He just want to hang around Bugs and Daffy and enjoys bringing them down to his sad, little world.
If he don't get Daffy by now he never will. Bugs know what Daffy is about and likes it and encouraging him. They are real friends. Pigface is the real cunt here.
Pig's gotta let off steam somehow. Daffy literally runs him out of office with a vicious series of attack ads, tricks him into losing a marathon by collapsing at the 10 feet mark and asking for help, and kidnaps him so he can sniff for treasure in the woods at midnight.
she apparently got interviewed by WB, she might show up for future productions
They had some cute episodes, the Family Portrait episode was probably the best example of how to write their relationship comedically. All competitive and teasing and whatnot. Shame they didn't write more episodes along that vein, it was a good direction.
I felt bad for Porky but at the same time I haven't much patience for people with little backbone. He really did need someone to bounce off, they should have introduced Petunia earlier.
What's the matter? Never seen gay gophers before?
Would Daffy ever take advantage of Porky
I can't stand the shape of Bugs' head in wabbit. It's seriously triggering my autism.
Wabbit seems to be a critical failure, but how is it doing in terms of ratings?
>all these pictures for ants
Reposting actual res versions.
Wabbit Bugs really is an UGLY design—but ugly like the designer didn't know it, like they were trying to amp up what someone perceived as cute factors, like huge cheeks and a tiny nose.
Mid-period classic Bugs from 1945-1955 has some really appealing designs. Looney Tunes Show Bugs was a little odd for Bugs (first season was almost 1939 Bugs), but at least fairly appealing. But Wabbit Bugs—not unlike 1970s Bugs, actually—is aggressively ugly, and it hurts the shorts apart from their other merits (or lack thereof).
I used to masturbate to Justin Berfield so much. That show just made me so horny. I remember watching an episode where the boys are at the pool and I just fapped and fapped to his feet.
I'm so happy he's gay.
Rules of slash says tsunderes always bottom, so Daffy is indeed the sub.
I didn't really like her at first but I feel she really started to shine in the later episodes. Her and Bugs relationship had some of the best episodes. Them being competitive was great too.
>Sit down to check the news
>Notice I left this tab open
>See a reply
I'm happy for you Anon, have a nice day!
>Sorry, that was definitely not my resume
What was he looking at /co/?
I don't fucking understand. Why do fujoshi love Loony Toons of all things?
I have seen legit fujoshi bait anime with less gay fanart than these two. How the fuck is that possible? I had no idea Japan even liked Loony Toons.
>I have seen legit fujoshi bait anime with less gay fanart than these two.
Probably because those shows are usually shit. Fujoshi draw fanart for everything, this isn't surprising.
a christmas special
I dunno how long its existed for but the past couple of TLTS threads have ended up being Baffy oriented, which at least is better than whinging over Petunia or the umpteenth Lola debate.
I'm binge watching the show right now.
Daffy is the biggest asshole since George Costanza.
Hasn't Daffy always been an asshole though? He was more sympathetic in the Chuck Jones period since he got excessively shat on (with Bugs coming off as a bigger dick), but still. LT characters are all basically sociopaths anyway.
Remember when Daffy was cool with killing people?
Scooby Doo Mystery Inc was meant to appeal to adult fans of the original series in the same way that Looney Tunes Show does, so you should definitely enjoy it. The main complaint people have with MI is that the Velma x Shaggy stuff is pretty bad, but luckily it gets dropped early in the series.
