I just found this gem of a series. I was a pretty big fan of Looney Tunes when I was a kid but I had completely missed that they made series for adults (kind of anyway). Because I think they are made with adults in mind, somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not American so I'm not 100% sure about this but they are airing on Cartoon Network and that makes it a children's show? '
Either way I like it and I wonder if there are any other shows like it from Warner Bros. I'm currently downloading Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated. I hope that it is made with the same kind of humor as The Looney Tunes Show. And I'm getting Wabbit but that sounds less good because it is supposed to be just a bunch of shorts, but I will give that a try again.
Please give me good series please.
Watch Duck Dodgers, drop the looney tunes show
how can you enjoy this garbage if you liked the classics
>>77879800
You have to able to separate the two obviously.
The classics are very great but the new show is fun in a completely different way.
Duck Dodgers looks very good. I've been searching for a new sci-fi series for a while now and this wasn't quiet what I was think of it will do for now.
Really no interest in this what so ever?
Pic related is like one of my most hated characters (on the left) I've ever seen on the screen. She is up there with Malcolm (i the Middle)'s mother or Walter White's wife, I really hate her.
>>77879588
I still want my daffy wizard adventures in the vein of Overlord
>>77879588
It used to air on Cartoon Network but now it airs weekends on Boomerang
Honestly this show was way better than it had any right to be.
Not trying to say it was the best thing ever or equivalent to the shorts, but the premise makes it sound a hell of a lot worse.
>>77882320
This is kinda exactly what I think. I wouldn't even think about giving it a chance if it wasn't for some guy doing something at Mike Tyson Mysteries did something at this show.
>>77881763
What is the difference? Here in Sweden we just have the one channel with all both programming on them. We also don't get Adult Swim at all.
Looney Tunes Show was very underrated, had the best version of Daffy and Lola in my honest opinion.
>>77883687
Have you watched Wabbit?
>>77884019
No, is it any good?
>>77884096
I don't know. I wanted you to tell me.
Since they replaced The Looney Tunes Show with it maybe it's kind of the same.
>>77879588
Nice show I say.
>>77881384
I hate Lola so I'm glad that they made her a dumb slut in the Looney Tunes Show.
>>77879588
Bugs and Daffy should've started dating each other.
What is the target demographic for this show?
>>77889444Baffy shippers
>>77885385
I've seen, and if I had to pick between the two I wish they kept Looney Tunes instead.
>>77889217
This is true for pretty much every Looney Tunes thing ever
>>77889217
I mean they kind of WERE. They were dating genderbent versions of their best friend, Bugs was with Lola (who was practically a female Daffy) and Daffy was dating Tina (whose personality was likewise similar to Bugs).
>>77890678
So they were beards? Show should've gone the extra mile and just have Bugs and Daffy gay married.

Close enough.
>>77896178
Daffy also wanted to take Bugs to a romantic dinner that one episode. Bugs kinda freaked out and told Daffy that he should take a WOMAN to romantic dates.
And then Daffy went on about how he never got along well with women.

>>77897373
>>77897391
What if Bugs likes to be the bottom? He dresses like a woman and seduces men pretty fucking often.
>>77879588
It's the best cartoon adaptation of a live-action sitcom so far.
All I remember about this show is Lola was turned into a Yandere and had a seductive as fuck voice

It was Chuck Jones who created smug Bugs and asshole Daffy.
Show didn't come close to the shorts, but what the fuck is going to come close to a produced-for-film animation short? Do you people even understand the level of detail that has to be bound up in something that's intended to be displayed on a 30 foot by 40 foot movie screen?
I loved the show but I hated most of the Merry Melodies. There was a good Daffy one and the best friend gay chipmunk one was cute and catchy but most were cringe-worthy

>>77898675
>Al Bundy
>Dumb, bumbling fool
Granted, it didn't come across for most of the series, but Al wasn't stupid, nor that clumsy.
90% of his fuck ups and shortcomings came from the fact that he simply stopped giving a fuck, and escaped into cynicism, which is what gave him his funny bone. The fact that he was literally cursed probably didn't help.
Lois in may things was a version of him who just refused to slip.
>>77912585
That is very nice. Do you have any pics of your dick?
>>77913643
This motherfucker went from hero to zero with this episode.
Fuck him for ruining Bugs day just because Daffy is being a cunt as usual. Don't give Daffy his ticket, this is OK, but don't tear up Bugs' ticket. And why would you tear up your own ticket?
Fucking pig didn't even really want to go to the game, even though he played in high school. He just want to hang around Bugs and Daffy and enjoys bringing them down to his sad, little world.
If he don't get Daffy by now he never will. Bugs know what Daffy is about and likes it and encouraging him. They are real friends. Pigface is the real cunt here.
>>77916794
Pig's gotta let off steam somehow. Daffy literally runs him out of office with a vicious series of attack ads, tricks him into losing a marathon by collapsing at the 10 feet mark and asking for help, and kidnaps him so he can sniff for treasure in the woods at midnight.
>>77906456
she apparently got interviewed by WB, she might show up for future productions
>>77906599
They had some cute episodes, the Family Portrait episode was probably the best example of how to write their relationship comedically. All competitive and teasing and whatnot. Shame they didn't write more episodes along that vein, it was a good direction.

Wabbit Bugs really is an UGLY design—but ugly like the designer didn't know it, like they were trying to amp up what someone perceived as cute factors, like huge cheeks and a tiny nose.
Mid-period classic Bugs from 1945-1955 has some really appealing designs. Looney Tunes Show Bugs was a little odd for Bugs (first season was almost 1939 Bugs), but at least fairly appealing. But Wabbit Bugs—not unlike 1970s Bugs, actually—is aggressively ugly, and it hurts the shorts apart from their other merits (or lack thereof).

Sadly, yes. However, I really enjoyed the two seasons of MI we did get, and it was at least a complete story.
Spoiler:It was really clever how they made it "loop" back around to the original series with the laugh track and everything.
>>77940391
>asshole
you know most classic LT shorts are about his survival
>>77941766
woo hoo Daffy was mostly just a shit stirrer. He's also always been a dick to Porky.
>>77941896
So was Bugs though
Imagine Daffy and Bugs meeting for the first time as their 1940 selves, they would just have killed each other over the spotlight
>>77940798
Baffy is cute and not for sexual anyway
its an innocuous little ship
>>77941981
Well yeah, Bugs is also a dick, hence:
>LT characters are all basically sociopaths anywayI always found Bugs to be more of an asshole than Daffy desu, probably because he's so smug and not all that interesting on his own (Wabbit really drives that home). Also, Chuck Jones rode his dick way too hard.
>>77940798
>Being a homophobe
>>>/pol/
>>77942211
>so smug
well yeah that's chuck jones fault
>>77941122
>Porky as Mako
This could work.
>>77899095
Like Duck Dodgers, but with a Daffy that is insanely powerful instead and sometimes shows brilliance?I just want more sexy elf and orc babes.
>>77942291
The smugness is one thing, the fact that he was a karma houdini and never got shat on is what made him really annoying.Chuck Jones a shit
>>77942564
>karma houdini
Oi, IIRC they always explicitly made the villain "shoot first" so to speak.
Also he was a vehicle for slapstick, nothing more to it.
>>77942564
>Jealous Bugs
I always wanted to see this happen.
>>77942602
>Also he was a vehicle for slapstick, nothing more to it
Well he sucks.
Daffy best Toon.
>>77942623
Has Bugs ever experienced jealousy, insecurity, or moments of self doubt? All I can think of is the episode where he goes berserk over the tortoise.
>>77942691
>Has Bugs ever experienced jealousy, insecurity, or moments of self doubt?
Nope, he's way too self-confident hence I want to see him go crazy once.
>>77942691
well there's the duck amuck version with him where he gets fucking angry
>>77942810
That was lame
>>77942786
Do these fancomics actually exist?
Goodamn it look like this person was the only western baffy fanartist
>>77941003
>>77941022
>>77941242
Is there anyone here who can translate moonrunes?
>>77942691
Robert mcKimson shorts probably have the most imperfect version of Bugs, like the one where he starts a war with the whole USA and goes to jail for it.
Also there's an early short in wich Bugs hypnothizes Elmer into a rabbit, who then pretty much acts like a second Bugs which makes him super angry
Just watch shorts that weren't made by Chuck Jones, just imagine he had done a Bugs vs. Cecil short, simply impossible
>>77942862
Why was Chuck so in love with Bugs?
>>77942862
McKimson gets painfully little credit for his work.
>>77942877
he wasn't, when I remember correctly every director had to make a certain number of Bugs Bunny features every year because he was the most famous LT character, Chuck Jones' ones are just the most well known
>>77942949
>>77942900
Tbh I really hated the way Chuck drew Bugs. It was a lot less cute and fluffy than McKimson's models, and it had a very punchable face.
>>77942964
early small Jones Bugs a best
>>77943011
It's not bad, but nothing beats Bob's Bugs.
>>77943056
>that book
Lewd.
>>77943056
he's soFAT
>>77943107
There's nothing lewd about math, anon.
>>77943157
>>77943137
There's only one kind of multiplying rabbits do and it ain't math.
>>77943185
Yeah, too bad for him there were no female bunnies back then in the Looney Tunes universe.
>>77943274
and the only female bunny available now is shit.
>>77943285
stop it
>>77943361
Anybody mind telling me the context of this?
>>77942826
>Do these fancomics actually exist?
I think it was one of those situations where you had to buy them to see them.
>>77940814
Well he did say killing Rodney is not a bad idea.
>>77943418
I'm sure he'll always be totally fine with murder. Shame he'll never be as whacky as he originally was, though.
>>77943366
Stop what, dear anon?
It nuked the fridge when they actually made Bugs and Lola a couple.
>>77943300
No wonder he settled for Daffy.
>>77898298

What it is with bunnies harassing ducks?
>>77879588
huh.... didn't expect there to be a number of Baffy shippers
>>77943591
it's like one dude spamming his whole baffy folder in here
>>77943610
well yeah but I mean like, people drew that
>>77943610
>dude
>implying
>>77943619
it only like 5 different fanartists
>>77943610
Nah, there's at least 3 of us. Pay attention to filenames, dingus.
>>77943634
Anything ITT not done by notacomedian is actually stuff from a slew of random artists from pixiv, tumblr, and DA.
>>77879588
Bugs does a lot of crossdessing here.
>>77943591
>>77943610
/co/ had a general yaoi thread not long ago that revealed a fair amount of /co/mrades ship baffy. LTS threads used to be full of homo too IIRC.
>>77943610
>>77943634
if that makes you feel better, champ.
>>77943726
>Not shipping Baffy
Literally cancer.
I know it's a really dumb fucking opinion, because a lot of people hated Space Jam and Lola, but I just wished Lola was less insane stalker and more Babs Bunny.
The Presdents song was the jam, though.
Do Baffy shippers like Looney Tunes: Back in action?
>>77943735
hey look at that, a new IP to the thread.
"it's just one dude" anti-baffy anon status: rekt.
>>77943745
Not particularly.
>>77943739
So, a second Bugs? We already have Bugs
>>77943739
>but I just wished Lola was less insane stalker and more Babs Bunny
I'd be okay with this, I actually think Babs is pretty great. I'm not sure if that's an unpopular opinion though, what's /co/'s opinion of Babs?
>>77943745
I've seen some on tumblr say it had a lot of baffy pandering, so I assume they do.
>>77943745
I don't particularly like both Space Jam and Back in Action. I think even a full-CGI film would be better than these hybrids.
>>77943782
>full-CGI Looney Tunes
Please no. Just let it die.
>>77943782
Was Lola even in BiA?
>>77943772
Bretty gud. A little intense for modern comedic sensibilities, but still watchable.
>>77943797
who needs Lola if you got THIS
>>77943772
Both Buster and Babs feels like a half personality to me.
>>77943818
Too much lipstick.
>>77943823
Guess that's why they're paired together to make a whole one, then.
>tfw I remember so little of Tiny Toon Adventures that I'm not even sure if the kids ever interacted with their adult counterparts
>>77943968
>their flippers will never massage your naked fat body while they gentley coo in duckeese
>>77943968
They did. I think there were at least a couple of episodes where the adult characters mentored the kids.
>>77943968
They did, many times.
>>77943842
never seen this in such a high resolution before, thanks anon.
also, does anybody know if pic related is a shoop? it has to be a shoop, right?
>>77943988

>>77943981
Ducks are not for sexual, anon.
>>77944012
s-seriously?
>>77944063
Seriously. Why is it so hard to believe? They're not fucking or anything.
>>77943997
>Bugs nose literally inside daffy
the longer i stare the weirder it looks
>>77944074
Their faces are rather close together, though. It's kinda gay.
>>77942826
No, it was an April Fools joke.
>>77944242
makes me wonder how would Daffy react if he accidentally killed Bugs
>>77944290
Probably gleeful at first over finally getting rid of competition, then later (much later) bummed after realizing he killed the only person besides Porky who could tolerate his company.
>>77944357
Is Daffy the original tsundere?
>>77944474
>I have no fucking idea what a tsundere is
>>77944497
That's what he is in most of the fanart itt.
>>77943745
>Eh, Daffy always comes back. I just tell him how much I need him. We hug, we cry, I drop somethin' heavy on him, I laugh...
The movie was practically made for baffy shippers.
Best melody
https://youtu.be/cGU81GswrnE
>>77898827
>Why don't those two hook up?
Honestly, Daffy and Porky have a longer homoerotic history with each other than Daffy and Bugs, but I guess it's too abusive so it never really caught on like Baffy. Porky deserves better anyway desu.
>>77944882
Nah, they were just friends.
>>77945148
>Daffy: Have you got a marriage license?
>Porky: G-g-gosh no, I'm not married.
>Daffy: Aha! Not married eh? Well- *jumps into Porky's arms* — whaddya say you and me go steady?
Daffy wants to get porked.
>there will never be another good LT show
>there will never be another LT show as gay as the LTS
why live
>>77881555
Fuck, this actually happened
>>77945250
Wabbit is pretty gay, but not in a good way.
>missing the most obviously gay characters
>Bump limit
That's all, folks!
We should have LT threads more often
>>77943056
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZtea9XsPt4
>>77944882
It works better in the older shorts when Daffy was still shorter than Porky and weren't openly antagonistic to each other. They've even lived together a few times with no problems.
