Yeah, we had seem him in some promo stuff (cards, krosmaster figurine), his name is Marline and he's a gobbowl player, most likely Khan's rival.

I loved Joris vs. Atcham's scene, plus we could see him with yellow eyes during one frame, so something happened to him (Ivory Dofus?). We can even see him like that in his next Krosmaster figurine.
I wish he used his weapon from Wakfu instead of a sword, he's barely used it since then.

Well worth it. It starts off lighthearted and simple, but somewhere in the 20-30 episode range, it really picks up on all fronts. It's a fantastic show to watch in spurts of three episodes with a fine drink.

I can understand why they stick with Iops. Sacrier skills are harder to translate into the shows. The Sacrier that Grougal fought was closer to the games than Kris Kras. And even then all we saw was the sac using attract and maybe punishment spam.

Well consider that bakara and kerubim seems to be more in the know of what's going on which neither Eva or Ruel did so that could lend to different behaviour, and Kerubim probably won't be as carefree as ruel at times. Some more or less skin deep similarities in group roles and dynamics are bound to happen because, you know that's how groups work.

Doubt it. Kerub doesn't seem that involved in the movie judging from the trailers, and to be honest I expect him to either die or be too seriously injured to do much. As for the rest, I'm not sure they're going to be together all the time. We've seen several scenes where Lilotte doesn't seem to be around, and a few where Bakara seems to fight Julith while Joris isn't around. It could be a split-focus movie.

Yeah, to me Kerub is dead cat meat.
We know him and Atcham reincarnate at some point to be adopted and raised by Joris, so chances are they wouldn't let such an important event happen off screen. In the new trailer, we hear Kerub's weak voice whispering as if on his death bed. We don't see him much besides city scenes and one action scene at his shop. His armor seems intact, while in the OVAs, we can see it with a hole in the chest area. Finally we know from the Krosmaster spoilers and some of the trailer's shots that Joris is emotionally triggered to go berzerk at some point.

I've been watching the shit out of Dofus, but I can't seem to find much info about it or Wakfu besides what I see on wikipedia. I haven't watched any Wakfu yet. I want to get everything right, so correct me where I'm wrong.
I have it understood that Dofus takes place a long time before Wakfu. Dofus is a spinoff of Wakfu, which is based on the MMO. Dofus is a complete spinoff, which as no connection to Wakfu. Dofus is also more cartoony/silly in comparison to Wakfu. Wakfu is 100% complete, while Dofus is still in development.

Still haven't tried it, but from what I've read:
-They don't use Wakfu, instead they have BQ ("Brise Quadramentale", like mana). When their BQ is full, they enter "Heart of fire" mode, cancels any BQ gain or loss, rises damage by 20%, lowers the cost of some light spells and decreases your BQ by 25% every turn (so it lasts 4 turns maximum).
And yes, you read right, LIGHT spells. Not only does the huppermage have access to the four normal elements (air, water, fire and earth), it has a FIFTH element. To be precise, it has 3 spells of each normal element (12 in total), and 8 light spells. So, if a normal class has 15 elementary spells, huppermages have 20. Also, light spells consume BQ when used.
The spells of the normal element also create "runes". These runes are consummed when a light spell is used, giving an effect (+1 PO, +10 Parade (don't know the english word), -10% BQ consumption in light spells, +5%Critical Hits).
They also have 5 class spells and 10 passive skills as the other classes, but I'll have to try it to see what they do. For now, it looks way more interesting than its Dofus counterpart.
