What is this from?
>>
Fables, 1001 nights of snowfall
>>
>>77837099
Is it worth a read? Because any context to "rabbit witch using the black arts to shoot eyebeams of death at another rabbit to avenge her son" would probably be fucking awesome.
>>
>>77837380
Just read it and find out yourself. Worst case scenario you read a comic you didn't care for.
>>
>>77837666
Ok then, thanks for the help. :)
>>
>>77837380
Fables as a whole is amazing.
>>
>>77837099
Is... Is this not from a Watership Down comic?
>>
>>77837380
This is the only panel with the rabbit witch
>>
>>77838251
I don't really remember a whole lot about Watership Down, but I don't recall a whole lot of black magic going on. Mostly just pissed off rabbits scratching the shit out of one another.
>>
>>77838750
I remember a cartoon that had black magic rabbits in it...
>>
>>77838750
>>77838940
Ok, so it's not this scene I was thinking about in particular, but there was some weird shit in that movie.
>>
>>77838994
And I forget the link...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMvGUCTpCIY
>>
>>77838994
There were like... rabbit ghosts, right? Or the "Spirit of all Rabbits" or something.
>>
>>77838181
I wouldn't call it amazing but it's definitely worth a read.
>>
>>77838750
>>77838994
Watership down had some mystical elements, mostly dealing with a black rabbit that came to bring you to your death, and the kinds of things that happened in Dandelion's stories.

Most of it was rabbits scratching the shit out of eachother, though. The book was really good at making things the rabbits didn't understand, but humans did really mysterious- like artwork, so it's easy to think of them as magical rabbits if you only have vague memories of it.
>>
>>77838251
I just searched it (Never saw or read Watership Down) and it's apparently considered very anti-feminist.

Something about the guys only looking for women because they're needed to make more of the species.

You know, the same reason any species ever tries to find women.
>>
>>77839093
who the fuck cares
>>
>>77839093
It probably wouldn't be considered so bad if it weren't for the fact that what happened- rabbits leaving their warren and creating a new one- wasn't biologically attributed to female rabbits.

The guy wrote some stories about female rabbits in a sequel book a couple decades later to make up for it.
>>
>>77839036
Something like that, yeah!
>>
>>77839151
Er, was attributed to female rabbits. As in, female rabbits do that in real life, males did in the book.
>>
>>77838270
So it's just a random joke panel?
>>
>>77839151
Richard Adams. He also did Plague Dogs and Shardik.
>>
>>77838181
Up until the whole Jew thing tb.h fa.m
>>
>>77839177
No. There is a whole story about the rabbit being zapped. Its pretty funny.
>>
>>77839177
It's the intro to a short story where the rabbit is sort of a reverse frog prince - he gets turned into a human and has to get a rabbit to kiss him to turn back.
>>
>>77839182
>Plague Dogs
That's another fucked up movie too.
>>
>>77839199
>>77839213
Ah, I was thinking it was a punchline, but now I really need to track this down. That sounds hilarious.

also for some reason Snow White is drawn as asian in at least one of the the short story segments.
>>
>>77840471
I thought she was meant to be east european there
>>
>>77840508
You're right, eurasian, not asian.

And yes, there's a difference.
>>
>>77838181
No, Fable until halfway is amazing. Fable as a whole is a great first half and a fucking mess as a second half.
