You can point it out but all it says is that the narrative does what Miles and Kerry would want it to. Weiss is criticized by Yang and portrayed as unreasonable for not wanting to date Jaune. Which is part of the larger problem of the situation.

Weiss does not want to date Jaune. That shouldn't be a bad thing. In a few instances is trying to be friends with him. She even opens the door back up to give him that one more shot at not being a jackass. But, the thing is, even if Jaune had taken that opportunity straight up, poured his heart out and made the honest confession Pyrrha would have suggested, she'd probably still say no because she's just not into him. She doesn't misunderstand him, there's no hidden depth that's going to open her eyes to how much of a fool she'd been to reject him. She's not interested.

Seriously a story is a lens to explore ethical,moral, and philosophical questions and should take the time to do such.
Not every single fucking episode has to be dedicated to advancing the main plot or a bullshit fight to explore characters power levels.
This is why Miles and Kerry are hacks, they have no sense of an A/B plot structure, no desire to tackle bigger philosophical questions, and no idea how to explore character interaction outside of what Monty outlined for them.

I always felt like Blake got the leftovers when it came to Monty designing weapons. Crescent Rose, Myrtenaster and Ember Celica all seem pretty iconic and work well with their character's image. Gambol Shroud just seems like a mess that Monty threw together because everyone needed transforming weapons. It's only function of note is the flying around like crazy attack Blake did in the trailer and then never again.

Something about the proportions of the weapons on team BRNZ really irks me. Hell, I might as well extend that to most of the weapons in the series. There's a kind of weird inconsistency to their sizes. Some have weirdly realistic sizes and forms, others go full buster sword. Hey, so I have a theory. It's a long shot, with nothing to back it up, but what if Autumn, the character Qrow mentioned, is actually the 'Mysterious Narrator' voiced by Jen Taylor from Ep. 1? Her naration seems to be handled as a conversation between Ozpin and someone else, so unless Ozpin's semblence is Kiekaku, then I don't know how the narration happened between a seemingly non corporeal entity, and an established character in the universe.
