Thoughts?
Just read issues 1 and 2 and think its just OK. I've been waiting so long for Strange to get an ongoing again so my expectations may be a little high

#2 > #1
Although the page in #1 after he saves the kid was the best. Most in character moment insofar, at both ends of the spectrum. /co/ got triggered by it.
I'm worried the overarching story's just going to be a God Butcher rehash. My impression of it will increase dramatically if Aaron unearths some of Strange's atrophied cast, like Clea and Rintrah.
How do I read Final Crisis

Start with page 1, go from there until it ends.

I'm terrified of that too. I really enjoyed the first two issue tho
Mediocre. Art is pulling Aaron's shitty writing.

If you've never read Strange or Aaron's work before, then it's an enjoyable read with fun character moments. If you have read Strange, then you'll find him way out of character repeating yet another power-at-a-price character arc. And the plot seems like its a retread of the God Butcher story - something's killing all magic! what could it be! (hint: it's Science!). The mystical descriptions I also found lacking; Aaron needs to learn more adjectives than just "weird". The art really carries a lot of it.
The book so far seems like good popcorn fun, just as long as you don't go in expecting something novel.

For some reason, I feel like Aaron's Strange is the new prince of bel-air.
