Starting it with Niko and Nouchka from Tintin and the Lake of Sharks. Try to top this.

This is something you're going to have to put up with in cartoons with children in them, if they don't have some sort of super power.

Either they're going to be doing a lot of running, or they're going to end up tied to things like Penny Gadget.

>Kids defeating adults

It really doesn't require such an elaborate plan.

To be fair, in that position, his center of balance is so incredibly off-kilter, and the boy has incredibly leverage to pull him even further, using his arms between his legs as a sort of biological lever.

I seem to recall from that scene that the girl grabbed the keys from the guy's belt and opened the door immediately, then they pulled the guy completely off balance, and while he fell to the ground, they took their chance to run.

This is quite plausible, all moves straight out of judo and jujitsu for easily tripping up an opponent, even with the considerable size and strength differential, particularly if your only objective is 'make the person fall to the ground, then use the opportunity to run away immediately'.

Herge had studied judo and jujitsu in at least an informal sense over the decades, so that various characters using them would look somewhat authentic, so he probably would've made sure a purely bullshit move wouldn't actually work, even at his advanced age (when Lake of Sharks was made).

I'd give it a pass, myself, as silly as it might look on the surface.

Not a real defeat, but the most epic student vs. principal battle ever.

T.J. Detweiler is arrested, sent to court, and ultimately won over a word he made up to get around rules against cursing.

I still use it to this day.

What part of “Kids Defeating Adults” don't You understand?

How is making him fall from the tower not defeat??
>>
>>77635023
It's not as hard as you might think, because adults are expected not to hit back. Even in the gif, if that shit had failed the guy would probably not have done anything to the boy because he wants their parents to pay the ransom or something.

>using his arms between his legs as a sort of biological lever.

It's only one arm of the villain that is locked between his own legs. But he is probably aware that the boy could make this a very painful position by pulling his arm upwards, and so he doesn't offer much resistance.

Teen Titans is basically a show made from that premise. Then again do super powered kids count?
