This comic a shit. Anybody got the other comic she did about a female rock band going into space and getting captured by a space warlord? It ran for 3 or so issues, and had an anthro sphinx cat pirate chick.

The art is not very good. And lazy.

What happedn to that character was that I think the writer saw the character and said she was a tranny when one of the fans asked on tumblr but then the artist denied it and got all butthurt they said her character looked like a man even though that wasn't her intent, so maybe now they've made her into a snowflake.

This is actually pretty funny. I don't get the hate it's getting on /co/.
Sure the art can seem a bit rough at first, but it quickly grows on you and it really fits the fun and wacky tone of the book.

I dont mind the writing but jesus fuck, the art just got worse. Why does the artist think sour faces is appealing. Or that everyone looking the same is good? If Marvel wasnt pushing their progressive lie and SG and her friends were different races i wouldnt be able to tell the different.

Hell, this is her first ever solo so it's not like her solo is being ruined. Her last book was Slott's GLA mini from like 10 years ago, which while good, wasn't even good purely because of SG as she was just part of an ensemble cast. You can say you preferred her portrayal in GLA, but there really isn't much to it to "ruin" and prior to that she hadn't really been used since Ditko's original comic.

If anything, Bendis ruined her in New Avengers, this is just picking up the pieces of an already damaged good.

/co/, why do you keep talking about this book?
If you really want to tell the world how much you hate a book, rather than ignore this crap, why don't you just use sage in options, post your opinion and move on?
