ITT: cartoons that are literally flawless
>yfw how based Nick Bakay and Richard Steven Horvitz are
Always felt like Nick's version of EEnE to me, although I sincerely doubt that they had any influence on each other. Something about over-the-top slapstick where they fully utilize the cartoon as a medium just works.
It was a little more rough around the edges than EEnE, but really great regardless. It's a shame that it's so overlooked these day.
As I kid, I think Norbert's speech mannerisms were my favorite part. I've seen a few episodes recently and that might still be true. I DO get a lot more of the jokes now, though.
I personally feel Rocket Power aged better than most Klasky Csupo shows due to irony of its 90's Xtreme sports nature ending up creating what could be seen as an AU where such sports never went out of style It helps that it's one of the few shows that actually has reasonable adults.
>it's a fourth wall joke
>that episode where they telling a campfire story and each person added on to it
>El Grapadora going "HA HA! EL BABY!"
>The shrew going off tangent to talk about his truck and how he parked it
Stump then starts his story with shrew crashing his truck
Don't think so. They just liked doing fourth wall jokes
>Also the title sounds like a wet vagina pun now.
Seriously this show has been popping into my head at least once a month, and for some reason, as soon as I'm done remembering it fondly, this subject immediately pops into my head.
get a load of this shoobie
That and Motorcity. I'm still angry about it.
