I am interested to see what a Black Cube episode will be like.

Judging by the title of the second episode I can only assume Hater is involved, and after the last Hater episode I for once am not very excited.

Well, considering most of the complaints on tumblr were about Hater and Wander looking at Dominator solely as a love interest because she's a grill, with Craig replying that this will get addressed at some point, the real lesson of this plotline will probably be that it's wrong to view women as sexual objects or love interests and that they shouldn't underestimate Dom.

Damn, that black cube episode was actually quite sad and great at the same time. This helped me realize why Wander was my favorite character in season 1 before Peepers took over; he is just that nice of a guy that he would help out villains even if they didn't want him. That ending climax with Sylvia calling out the townsfolk and not the black cube even after it black-eyed Wander and afterwards has to be in my top 10 moments of this show. Overall, a solid 10 outta 10 from me.

I was indifferent about his in the last 2 episodes, as I saw what the plan was with his benefits, but also saw the downsides. However, him saying that all the villains fighting over the ring wasn't part of the plan, his constant reassuring of himself, saying that once Hater and Dominator meet everything will be alright, and the fact his plan in "The Matchmaker" was to just put it in the mail instead of hand delivery which would of most likely killed him and Sylvia, kept me from disliking him. I could see where the hate comes, but I think he's slowly learning. But we gotta wait till January 2016 to see if it comes full circle.

As for him in this episode, he constantly tries to pick the cube up from feeling anger, even trying to stop him from freaking out in the climax, and draws pic related into him out of the rain. He basically reformed him; I count that as good.

It was gaining a following, especially with introducing Dominator and word getting around that the show has a lot of homolust in it. Then they decided to use her for the sake of a romance story, thereby destroying both her and the homolust. Now it's like people are just gritting their teeth and quietly waiting it out until the stupid love thing gets done with.

Actually, it's all true. People are annoyed that Dominator is so bland yet has the two protagonists of the show going crazy over her. The tumblr crowd is annoyed that the homolust has stopped and that Dominator, who could've been so much more than she is, is currently being used as sexualized waifubait who's only there for Hater to lust over. Then there are the anons who simply don't like romance, no matter how much for the sake of humor it is, being on the show for several episodes. It's all a rich tapestry of disappointment.

I think the Black Cube was the most meh episode of WOY to date. Which is a shame because i was really looking forward to it.
Eye of the Skull Ship, however, was really funny and I hope we get to see more of Andy.

This has solidified my belief that I only really like episodes with Hater, Peepers, or watchdogs in them. Doesn't have to be exclusively them but the best episodes do have Hater/Peepers/watchdogs. I absolutely love The Picnic, The Little Guy, The Birthday Boy, The Brainstorm, The Enemies, The Greater Hater, The Big Day, The Fremergency Fronfract, The It, The Rager, The Good Bad Guy, The Battle Royale, and The New Toy.

I think the only episodes with Wander and Sylvia as the main characters are The Liar and the Boy Wander. Makes me think this show should have been called "Wander with Hater" seeing as he's practically the second main character. I love that about this show, I never would have guesses Hater and Peepers, the villains, would get almost 50% of the screentime.

This hiatus is really gonna suck, i can't fucking believe we have to wait nearly two months to see the next episode.

so i've seen it said several times that people think that Wander is being dumb this season, i never got that. I think he seriously likes Hater and is willing to do whatever it takes to make him happy. He had no idea the other villains would show up when he spread the rumor about the myth (he's an air head). And he isn't forcing Hater and Dom to be together, the way i see it he's like, "How could they possibly not like each other? They just need to be formally introduced and everything should work out!" He knows how much Hater likes Dom so he really wants them to work out.

Up until the Battle Royale, Wander probably thought Dominator was an automaton or a robot. When he saw she was actually a goofball he thought she'd make a great girlfriend for Hater. They've been humanising Peepers a lot recently and Frank said on his blog "I actually think they (Peepers and Hater) were still supposed to be pretty adversarial when we started Season 2, but as we went on, their relationship just naturally evolved."

My justification theory is that Wander knows he himself can't reach Peepers and is hoping that'll be something Hater does when he turns good.

Also, while on the subject, the jump in Peepers and Hater's relationship isn't organic at all. I think it's a good part with what >>77517977 said. He never saw Dominator had a personality, so when he saw that she was a peppy girl who loves evil, he probably thought "Hey! Isn't Hater looking for a girlfriend?" and thus his plan was born.

As for not mentioning the goofy aspect like >>77518406 said, he was trying to talk down Hater from attacking Dominator, and giving it was a serious fight, Hater probably wouldn't believe him if Wander said Dominator was a girl, thus him deciding to take off her helmet during the fight to try and show him that Dominator is human.

As much as I want it, I don't think they have the guts or the desire to end Peeper's and Hater's friendship in tragedy.

This week on Drama in the Skull Ship!

Emperor Awesome has claimed the kitchen for himself and has deemed himself Lord of the Pantry! He is demanding the other survivors must trade in order to be given food!

Luckily for Wander and Sylvia, the green hat is able to create baskets of fruit at will! The Little Black Cube of Darkness will go hungry until he can find something to trade to Emperor Awesome!

Dominator has locked herself in a makeshift prison box and had self-imposed a sentence in the attempt to avoid Lord Hater! Unfortunately, Lord Hater has spent the last 6 and a half hours weeping in front of the box, as of now it he appears to have gone comatose!

Commander Peepers has become enraged, if Hater doesn't wake up before this week's next challenge, he will have to compete by himself!

I can't believe this thread is still up yet it feels so dead in here. Even tumblr was pretty dead after these episodes. People really rage quit over DomN'Hater. I understand being disappointed but dropping the show seems a bit extreme. It's a shame to see fans miss out on this week's quality episodes.

I just thought it was boring. the environment was just the suburbs as opposed to an alien planet, am asteroid field, or a space ship. the episode was in black and white, which i get, but i just greatly prefer the vibrancy of the colors of this show. the story was ok, i liked how cube was trying to get his life on track but the kids making fun of him was lame to me- when has a bunch of kids picking on someone ever made for a compelling episode? and it just seemed so unrealistic, a week ago they were under cube's control and they know he's able to steal souls and crush objects with his mind but these kids had some serious balls to mess with him. but the biggest issue i had with the episode is that i didnt laugh once, which is a first. i chuckled when the apartment owner and the restaurant owner were revealed to be two people but it was the un-funniest episode of WOY to me. eye of the skull ship was way funnier in my opinion
