I kinda liked the first 5 and a half seasons.

For the first six seasons I could just sit down and watch it and laugh a decent amount. Even seasons 7 through 9 had some good jokes scattered about too.

Not him, but I agree. TCS was fucking great and I genuinely enjoyed it more than I ever have FG. Was sad it got canned and even sadder that it didn't really get a proper finish. Cleveland and his family just move to Quahog for no actual reason other than "LOL SHOW'S CANCELLED!" and then the family is basically sidelined forever sans Donna who still gets a few lines here and there because it's harder for them to outright ignore the fact that Cleveland has a wife when they're doing stories about marriage issues where Peter is bitching about Lois to the guys and Joe and Cleveland need to chime in with something about how their marriages also have shit going on that they aren't happy with.

Seriously, they have Mike Henry and Kevin Michael Richardson as regulars on the show all the time. It's not like they couldn't use Rallo and Cleveland Jr. a bit if they really wanted to.
