These were all engineered. The only confirmation MSW ever had was in stuff already shown. Trailers, production stills, and so on. Stuff they were already going to release anyway. It's a deliberate buildup so people trust the fake info on the site and focus on that. Any real leak will be derided as "Not from MSW". This has all been done to create a fake perception of what the movie is about so they can surprise people.

If it's kybers then that would explain why we've never seen it outside of Rebels. I can't imagine any Jedi would be happy with the crystals charged with the Force being used like that. It actually took two hits to take out the Artiquens. It's actually a good explanation for how they were able to take down a Star Destroyer in RotJ(albeit offscreen).

And even then there's personal levels of flexibility, quality of cartilage...you get the idea. The average person in SW might be a little tiny bit force sensitive, but not enough to do anything with it. Why do people dislike Finn or Rey? They already seem way more interesting than Luke ever was based on the scraps we know. And the actors seem to be able to display emotion very well.

In Rey's case I simply don't trust Hollywood to have an interesting female character. She'll be your stock standard action love interest who'll throw out a couple quips and then give Finn a kiss before he rushes off to save the day. Also an obligatory girl on girl fight with Phasma, since women and men fighting is sexist.

And Finn's just going to be a boring everyman hero you always see in family friendly blockbusters.

The most interesting and likeable characters will be the villains and side characters.

Luke was literally an "everyman" hero. Finn really doesn't fit the bill because he takes very drastic action at the beginning of the film that most people don't ever do. Defecting.

Williams HAS created a First Order March for them. And he has always considered the Imperial March to be Vader's leitmotif, so I'd expect the latter to only show up during the Mask scenes.
