I don't talk about it publicly that much, but I don't think it's a huge secret that I describe myself as asexual. Some people would consider me bisexual and reserve the term "asexual" exclusively for people who are completely incapable of feeling sexual arousal, but generally prefer asexual because it gets across the message that I don't really have strong attractions to either gender and am not exactly looking for love.

I find it amusing when people assume Prequel is some sort of erotic catgirl fantasy of mine, because like... sexuality in Prequel is always played as a joke. Picky implies you actually intend to pick, though. But I mean, like I said, I'm amenable to "bisexual" as well, I just prefer "asexual".

The thing about labels is that the one you "technically" fall into isn't always the one that most accurately describes you. Like that one anon said, almost everyone on earth is probably bisexual in the strictest sense, even if it's just because of "that one exception". However, this label doesn't say much about any actual sexual preferences someone has. Saying you're bisexual just makes people assume you're relatively indifferent about what gender you're attracted to.

As such, a lot of people describe their sexual orientation according to what archetype they're closest to. "Bisexual" is usually going to be worn by people who don't really care if they fuck a man or woman. Men with strong (if not total) male preferences will usually call themselves gay. People with little to no interest in sexuality will call themselves asexual. You could call these labels inaccurate, but they still convey the person's actual preferences better than the truth does.

The whole thing is basically just a weakness in the labeling system, which was conceived back when anything outside of heterosexuality was viewed as a disorder. I wouldn't say it's "prejudice" so much as a lack of understanding that led to the classification system around sexuality not having the necessary level of detail. Homosexuality was seen as a rare, singular trait some people had, rather than as the far position on a spectrum.

It's like if we only had the words "giant" and "midget", then later realized that most people are somewhere between the two and made an "everything else" category. Those three words alone would make it very hard to describe height.

Now that I reread the puzzle/Mysticism section, I got an idea.
Remember when Katia found the 4 leaf clover and it didn't really make her very lucky at all, since she got robbed? Remember when she found 4 leaf clovers in front of the entrance to the ruin, and resorted to alcoholism again?
Now, one way to look at it is that those events were necessary for her to find her magical potential and eventually she will benefit greatly from them.
Another way to look at it, though, is that before Gharug robbed her, she didn't believe in the 4 leaf clover's luck because a suggestion convinced her otherwise, and it didn't bring her any luck.
But after Gharug took the 4 leaf clover, Katia thought that now he would find more and more 4 leaf clovers and become more lucky, and so he did.
Could it be that Katia was already putting witchhunter thinking into practice, and unwittingly convinced reality that 4 leaf clovers work as she thinks they do?

Like, we all realize that the glowy letters were probably from the person who initially made Katia have nightmares, except he just left her to them afterwards and Katia's own mind made the nightmares worse with time so that now they're out of the mysterious glowy person's control? Either that or the glowy one at least knows/is on somewhat familiar terms with the one who did it.
