I too love the secondary characters, pretty much all of them! When I first started writing fics, I was afraid of making too many assumptions about them, and doing non-canon character development. ...Then, I went: "fuck it, let's do it!", and I'm pretty much slowly developing my own alternate fanon — a "Folly-verse", if you will — where I can toy with the characters and have fun writing.
I'm always astonished but happy, when people say that they like what I do!

Ya, Monarchs can stand down from their position due to several reasons, one of which is age. So elderly Star wearing Earthy clothes isn't a guarantee that she won't rule at all, just the most likely place she'll retire to(cue end theme).

I think the forward clock just takes what's given to it and ages the person based on those variables. While the backwards clock works off of pre-existing/actual past information. 14 year old Star was wearing the cactus headband at that time, therefore it was included on GrandStar. I think if it was a true and/or concrete future the wand probably would've been altered as well.(Dang that would've been cool, though maybe the wand is immune to such things? Or it was just plain spoiler avoidance)

Either way it was a fun little glimpse into the distant future/'what if'. I'm still kind of disappointed that we only saw old Marco's head. But I figure they wanted to work in another joke before getting to the ending parts. Another part of me assumes/hopes that the rest of him might have been spoilers. .

Since we already have their first names and some information on them (on Twitter it was said Rafael is an artist, which hasn't been directly stated in the show), I think we definitely will. In one interview Nefcy called them "overly PC" in relation to Star and her behavior, which is a cool take on the "cartoon parents let kids get away with everything" cliché instead of just making them oblivious or stupid.

The thing about Rafael being an artist who works on statues explains that huge statue of Star's face he made and his medical illustrations, which I first thought were just meant to be "random" gags.

I was thinking about it involving Britney and someone else. Maybe Star/Marco/Francis/Justin/other kid from their class. Like a 2 person project that they have to work on in class. I tend to make funny greentexts, so I was gonna aim for that, maybe with a side of cute. Only reason I'd pick Britney would be because I haven't written anything focusing on her yet, and she doesn't get many fics about her.

Just do it, its fine. The point is that you are able ta adapt yer scenario.

other way that I use is chaotic inspiration. Search your fav pic and describe them. Slowly, put stories in it then add your humor or your passion.

My passion usually involved with family, romance, feels and childrens

My favorite part haha. I also laughed a bit at how she just literally laid down and died right in front of her adult son.

Hello, stuck at work won't be home for another few hours. I will try to get that last chapter of King for a Day by Sunday but no promises.
