That guy pissed me off with how stupid he was.

Kaine is directly responsible for what Mike tried to stop and his entire motivation. I still can't wrap my head around his decision to join Kaine.

Really liked the character design though.

It wasn't revealed, but they do focus a lot on that one guy who didn't end up playing a part in the story.

They were setting up the reveal for a later episode.
